Day 4 and the magic was still sucking us in. We were immersed in the World of monorails, boats, buses, good food, celebrities real and fur. Arrived at MGM about 9:30 and headed straight for the AMC FP area. It started to rain and we were pretty far back in line. After about 30 minutes found out there were no more FP's for the stars we wanted to see. Oh well. Decided soap star chasing is tiring. I wanted to get on RNRC. Wait time was only 15 minutes so I went for it! What a blast! Can't believe I waited so long. Ran out to DH to tell him it wasn't bad and he should try. He worked up enough nerve and loved it!
The excitement had gotten me hungry and none of the counter stands were open. This was supposed be our F&WF day anyway, so we took the boat over to EPCOT.

The weather cleared up and was beautiful again. We started eating at the Poland stand sharing the Cabbage Roll w/ Spiced Beef. Agreed it was pretty good, not as flavorful as the name. Next stop Canada for the Cheddar Cheese soup. DH said it was delicious! Up next was the flourless Chocolate Hazelnut cake - rich but yummy! Couldn't resist Australia's Shrimp on the Barbie, which was very good. Decided to try SE Asia's Spicy Pulled Chicken - didn't care for it, served ice cold. Tried Ireland's Guinness Beef Stew next, which was just okay. Last stop was the much-anticipated Mexico. We shared the Quesidilla and Chicken Taco-very, very good! Between foods we browsed Canada, France, American Adventure and Germany. WS got crowded after 1:00. Skipped FW and headed back to the room. Enjoyed the view on the balcony while 'Charmaine' cleaned our room.

At about 6:00 we headed to DD for DQ. It wasn't crowded and we were able to play lots of games. Loved boomerang air hockey- DH beat me 2-1. The virtual white water rafting is fun, but hard work! After a few hours at DQ we headed over to PI, and of course 8 Traxx. I drank a few beers and danced sitting down. DH took it easy since we had an early morning tee time. Left PI after 10:00 and didn't wait long for a bus. When we got back to the room I arranged a 5:45 wake up call. Watched a little TV and hit the sack. It was a terrific day!

Mickey called promptly at 5:45. This day was one of DH's dream come true- a round of golf at Magnolia. Called Valet at 7:00 to arrange taxi service. We were picked up immediately. Another funny thing happened, this time with a driver. He started driving us toward Eagle Pines golf course. DH had to point it out to him. Funny because Magnolia is right across the street from GF and he drove way past it. He was very apologetic and since the service was complimentary DH gave him a tip.

Now here's something you should know. I'm not a golfer! I started playing over the summer in preparation for this trip. Had only been to the par 3 course a few times and had NEVER played 18 holes. LOL! I was nervous as we entered the pro shop, but the CM's were helpful and friendly. Having talked DH into leaving the clubs at home, we each had to rent a set. They were much nicer than the set I have at home. We used 6 magical wishes for this excursion. Without them it would have cost 317.00 Had about 15 minutes on the driving range before teeing off at 7:54.

They teamed us up with the nicest guy in RI- Todd. He and his wife were celebrating their 10-year anniversary at the GRAND. DW was having a massage. I was really nervous about who they would pair us up with. Remember, I'm not a golfer. Sometimes when I swing at the ball, I miss! I didn't want anyone besides DH to see that, but I knew it might be inevitable. When my second shot on the first hole went in the water I gave up. But it was okay because Todd and DH really hit it off. They encouraged me to play but I think realized I would slow down their game. They played together like old friends. It was so sweet! I was happy just videotaping and taking pictures. Todd offered to take pictures of us in front of the Mickey sand trap on # 6. The weather was lovely. Windy at times, but pleasantly warm. Way better than what we were getting at home! DH didn't play as well as he wanted, but I assured him it was a challenging course. LOL!

We finished up Magnolia and headed back to the room around 12:30. I was hungry and DH was all for having lunch at Kona. We freshened up and took the boat over to Poly. (I promise to put this in the dining report.) Something else I promise to put in the dining report is a bit about our 6:30 PS at Portobello. I'm ashamed to say we were late again - 6 minutes.
After Portobello we headed over to PI and guess where - 8 Traxx. Can you see I love this place? DH decided to let me get it out of my system and agreed to stay as long as I wanted. Combine that with $2.00 drafts - I was having a GRAND time! We stayed until about 11:15.
Took about 35 minutes to get back to the room. Long day, but it was great!

Sounds like a fun time was had these days - I have heard the crwods during Soap weekend are huge - thanks for posting!
