A Good Neighbor hotel with an extra or separate bathroom vanity area?

We have our two adult children in one room with us on this upcoming trip. We don't use the room for much more than sleeping and getting ready to go, so having a bathroom with a separate sink/vanity area outside of the showering/toilet part of the bathroom is very helpful.

We've stayed at the Fairfield the last two times and they did not have this. (At least in the rooms with 2 queen beds, which is what we'll get.)

Any places with fabulous bathroom set ups that come to mind?

What's the word on The Courtyard Anaheim Marriott? Anyone been there yet? It's still pretty new. The room descriptions look too good to be true!

We stayed at BWPPI and the sink was outside the bathroom. I think HoJo also has this set up in their double bed rooms but the last time we started there we were in a room with Queen beds and the sink was not separate from the toilet/shower.

I stayed at the King Suite at the Courtyard Theme Park Entrance and it does have a seperate sink/vanity area from the shower/toilet. If you go to the Courtyard's website, you can look at the room photos and they show the vanity/sink area and how it's laid out.

I also think the Fairfield Inn has a separate sink/vanity area (it's been a while since I've stayed there, but I'm pretty sure).

This thread got me thinking...are there many places that don't have vanity/sink areas that are separate from the shower/tub/toilet area? I was thinking through the hotels I've stayed at recently (both for vacation and business) and more seemed to have separate areas (Port Orleans at WDW is actually the only one that comes to mind that had a single area). So, I wonder if single area rooms are actually less common than the ones with separate areas. I'll have to pay more attention as I travel!

Port Orleans Riverside had the sink area separate from the tub/toilet room.

I was about to post that I can't think of any that do not have the sink/vanity combination. Probably some of the higher end ones (basically "hotel" instead of "motel") like Hilton or Sheraton, but as far as the ones closest to the park I can't think of any where the bathroom and vanity/sink is in the same room.

For the OP I would suggest doing a quick look at the hotel website (or possibly tripadvisor for guest pictures) before booking, most have pictures of the different type of rooms and if you are lucky they might have one that shows the bathroom layout. Good luck! :)

We generally stay at Park Vue or Tropicana. For the sink/vanity issue with more than 2 adults, I would totally recommend the suite at Park Vue with the kitchenette (I think it's called a 2 queen suite, but I can't remember any more; I just have them tell me where I stayed the last time, and rebook that room). At any rate, the helpful part of this room in particular is that there is a vanity area in the bathroom (mirror and sink in addition to toilet and tub), as well as an additional vanity outside the bathroom, opposite the kitchenette.

Our DD is at "that age" when she needs her own space to get ready, and she needs to do her things "just so," so having a vanity in the bathroom allowed me to get ready in there while DH showered, and DD could use the outer vanity to do her thing at the same time.

Otherwise, most every 2-queen room I've stayed in on Harbor has a single vanity area outside the bathroom itself.

We stayed in a room with two queen beds at the Fairfield last week and the sink area was entirely separately from the bathroom.

Can't speak for all HoJo rooms but since we have little kids and wanted to check in early we ended up in a two double bed room. It had a sink inside the toilet/bathtub room as well as a sink outside in the main room. So, 2 sinks.

On our most recent trip we stayed at the Camelot (right next to the Fairfield) in a deluxe one bedroom family suite. In one room there is a king bed and a sink with a mirror. And in the adjoining room is two queens with the bathroom. The sink is separate from the bathtub/toilet.

Port Orleans Riverside had the sink area separate from the tub/toilet room.
So, this tell me that not all rooms in any given resort have the same layout. We stayed at the Royal Room at Riverside and it had a single room.

I scanned through my old photos and it looked like the room we stayed at the Ramada Maingate (now the Grand Legacy at the Park) also had a separate sink/vanity area.

Hojos has this is the double/double rooms we've stayed in and also in the premium queen/queens we've stayed in.

Most likely. We were alligator bayou because we needed a rim that slept 5. Our layout is the one shown on this page:
