A goat woke us up Sunday morning at 5am!

I live in one of those "master planned" communities not on a farm.

Our neighbors son turned 8 this weekend. The normal friends and party atmosphere on Saturday afternoon. We went to our soccer game and later came home to the street full of cars. Normal so far.

We did notice a truck with a cage in the bed but no wording on the sides.

Later that night my DH was fixing our satillite. He came in said said that they had a goat next door. At first he thought it was a statue of one but then it moved. I couldn't believe it. i have heard of people having a pony at their parties. We have been to them but never in my life have we seen a GOAT at one.

This thing spent the night and proceeded to wake everyone in our family up at 5am Sunday. See, the dogs in the neighborhood knew that someone (thing) was new. They ALL wanted to find out who it was.

We had the Twilight Bark that morning for 3 hours!

The goat left Sunday afternoon.

Thanks for the laugh. My mom wanted to dig a pit to roast it in.

They seem like "normal" people. I hate to see what happens when the smaller two have their B Days.

For your information goats make great pets and alot of people keep the african pygmy goats as pets, they are about the size of a med-large dog and are actually very very smart. They are also very good with kids, why else would you think so many petting zoos have them for the kids, they are also at the AK in the petting zoo and are actually safer than ponies, who can kick and bite. I have had them both.
