I recently had sume surgery and my surgeon was a doll!! I have had some problems and have had to make a few trips to his office. His staff is the best and I just love him. I wanted to send something to them with a note to thank them for all they did for me. I know he is NOT a candy or sweet eater. I also idnt want to send a plant or flowers becasue the office is loaded. Any ideas??? Thanks

I work in a doctor's office and we get alot of sweets. No don't take this wrong, we absolutely love sweets. But if just once we got a nice meat and cheese platter. Maybe throw in some rolls. Veggie and fruit platters are nice too. I think everyone would love that!!!

I think food is always a good idea when you're trying to thank a group of people. If your doctor doesn't like sweets how about a savory snack? There's all kinds of neat mixes out now and interesting flavors of pretzels and chips. If they have evening hours any night you could have a few pizzas delivered. Along the same lines you could have bagels and a variety of toppings delivered if they have early morning appts.

I hope you're recovering well.

How about something like this:

It's fruit made to look like flowers.

The website is www.ediblearrangements.com

I agree with the other posters. I work in a bank and we used to have alot of customers who sent gifts. We would get ALOT of candy, but once in a while a lunch platter OR bagels, fruit, etc in the morning. We LOVED those.

My DH is a pediatric dentist. He honestly loves the nice notes he gets...but if you really want to get a gift, I second a breakfast platter for the office (usually has an assortment of bagels, muffins, breads, and fruit.) He gives those at Christmastime to other dr's that refer to them amd everyone loves them. That way the staff can enjoy it too and the stuff won't go bad right away. ALso wine is nice if you know he likes it, but that would just be for him.

It's very nice of you to do that!

The breakfast tray sounds like a great idea, but you could also do something like a party tray from Subway or your local grocery deli. We used to get those for staff meetings after school and they were a big hit. 3" sections of sandwich along with a tray of toppings...lettuce, tomato, pickles, so that everyone could make what they wanted.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I have not decided as of yet but I am thrilled to have some great ideas now!! Thanks again!
