well we finally made it to our hotel. We got here it looked nice....looks like a mountain lodge in the lobby. well got up stairs to our room and the air condition cover was falling off.. so naturally i went to fix it,...well the whole freaking thing fell....anyway it works..lol. ok then we try to close the drapes...not that did not happen either. only the sheers close..what purpose does that serve? so we pulled the drapes together and pushed the chair up on it. i just have to be carefull not to run around topless ..anyway we made it. i am going to start a trip report if anyone wants to join it. see ya sunday!!

Congrats on making it down there.. My husband and I fly out tomorrow.. and due to the bad weather coming.. I now have to get up at 530am to call and see if we can switch to an earlier flight.. we have a 330pm flight.. but now desire an 830am flight.. just to get there..

We are staying at the Hyatt at MCO.. and now are thinking of renting a car and driving to Disney for a couple of rides and dinner.. and then heading back to the hotel later tomorrow night.

Wish me luck on getting out of Boston w/plenty of time to spare!!!

Well, we are here at sea on the first night. It is great. Seems to me a little choppy. I feel DRUNK.. LOL. At first i could not look out the window and see the land go by. I seem to be ok now. We had our meet... the ladies are great... well going to surf the web a little and see what i am missing on land... LIKE I CARE.. hehehehe....We plan on going to show tonight. NITE!

well we are back on land...my first disney cruise was great!! i will have to tell you all about it when i get home. no power in the old laptop. i am plugged into one of the little cubbies here at MCO. cant wait to share it all. here is a pic of our trick or treaters with our group!

Ok, where do i start.
Day 1
Well ...ummm....we got to the port at about 10 am and unloaded our luggage on the sidewalk and sent the men to budget to drop off the rental car. While me,my sis and her DDs waited on the men to get back one of our lovely DIS friends had found us and got us to the gate and to the luggage handlers. THANKS JILL!!!!! At the point my excitement factor had not set in. We then went and checked in. My heart skipped a beat for a few minutes when the guy checking us in took a little while looking at our birth certifs. I was thinking OH GREAT something is wrong here. Well thank goodness it was just that he was looking at the wrong ID for birth certif that he was looking at. So finally we get through the check in..OK NOW I AM EXCITED!!!!!! After we checked in and got a spot to sit....right by the entry way to the WONDER...the men FINALLY get back to port. We sit and talk to all of our new DIS friends and find out that MOST of us have the same dinner rotation....TAAP. Saw a few characters come in. I believe it was pluto followed by chip and dale. The not long after that we hear them announce the ones that had been picked as the Family of the week(or cruise). After that I hear.....BOARDING PASS 2....wooohooo that is us. So here we go...we get our pics made then up the gang way to the boat. The announce us entering and then i am in amazement....I AM FINALLY HERE.... I AM ON THE WONDER. We have to go to guest services right away to change our account from cash to charge....ok have to back track for a sec. When i was checking in i did not know i would have to have our credit card...well DH had it checking in the car ...so i had to set the account for cash...ok fast forward back to the guest services...we finish there wait on my sis her her family. She comes in and then she goes to guest services to turn in her DDs shirts to be signed. Now we go to Parrots Cay to eat lunch. It was GREAT!! UMMM UMMMM. After eating lunch up to the Mickey pool we go... it was kinda windy and cool on the deck but that did not stop any of the little ones from swimming. At about 1:30 pm DH and i went down to see if our rooms were ready...well they were ready but no suitcases. That was ok.....no biggie. Well at 2 pm we had our first meet on the ship and met up with everyone. It was great. Everyone was sooo nice. we did not meet long ... everyone was pretty exhausted from crappy flights to long rides to get to port. After the meet we went back to the room and rested till time for the safety drill. Went to the safety drill then back to put up our vest then went right to the sail a way party. When we got back to our room our luggage was there. It was time to unpack....after unpacking it was almost time to go eat supper so we began getting ready then headed up to Triton's. Our servers were the best. Head server Simone was OMG...DREAMY!!! Ralph (from jamaca) was great. he called us all by name from day one. Odomsak (i think that is how you spell it) was great also. They were all great with the kids!!! The food was great... i ordered the steak that night and was YUMMMY!! Dh could not decide between 2 items....well Ralph took care of that and got both for him... hehe....well..the rest of the night was fun...we went to see the show which was a stand up comedian...cant remember his name....will have to pull out the navigator and see. We went back to the room then and kicked back. I sat out on the veranda for a little while...dozed off a little so i figured it was time to go to bed. Then...well that is where day 2 will pick up later!!!

Day 2.

Well this was a YUCKY day. Weather was pretty nasty. Several excurions were canceled. We got up and took our time. I dont even remember what we did for breakfast. We took it easy most of the morning. We met up with my sister and her family and had lunch out by the goofy pool. It was raining and the wind would blow the rain under the covered areas....OH WELL...lol. The rain FINALLY eased up enough to decided to get off the boat and do a little shopping at nassau. It was an act of congress trying to get my nieces to go to the oceaneers club for at least an hr or 2. Well once we finally got them there we went down to the gang way and headed out. Thank goodness they were handing out ponchos never thought to bring any rain gear. We shopped for about an hour and headed back to the boat. It was hot and humid with all that rain...but we at least can say we have been to nassau.. LOL. We then went to the cabin and napped and got a shower before supper. Supper was great...they changed POTC night to Monday due to Halloween being on Tuesday. We ate in AP and it was neat. They did not do the show since it was POTC night. After dinner we went to see The Golden Mickeys....my nieces got to go on stage and be a drawf with snow white. They thought they were the "star" of the show. The Golden mickeys were great...then after TGM we went to the pirate show. It was OK. I think I had expected more since i had heard so much about it on here. Dont get me wrong i still enjoyed it but ... well next cruise i will just sit back in the Quiet Cove area and listen. By the time the party was over we were exhausted and headed to bed. Oh my towel animal that night was a dog! The one for Night one was a swan!!! More to come... Oh yea i feel asleep on the veranda AGAIN!!!!!! I think i slept for about an hour before i woke up and went inside. Ok now more later.... will do day 3 tomorrow!!!

Ok day 3. It was beautiful. CC was great, it was a picture perfect day! Dh and i went straight to the adult beach. We were one of the first ones there. We found us a nice hammock and the into the water we went. We spent about an hour or so snorkeling on our own. We saw lots of tropical fish and also a sting ray. Dh wanted me to get closer for a picture and i asked him if he was crazy. I told him to get away from it!! Well after snorkeling there we went back the the beach and relaxed for a few. Then we headed back to the family area to find my sis and her family. Did not think i would ever find her but we lucked up she happen to be on the pavement and not in the beach area. We then walked over and got a vest and went snorkeling in the snorkel area. We enjoyed the snorkeling in the adult beach area better than in the family area. After a long day of snorkeling we went and had lunch then back to the ship we went. The biggest disappointment was with the post office. The post office said it opened at 8:30 and it was after 8:30 and the post office was not open so we decided to wait and hit the post office when we headed back to the ship. Well when we got there it was closed for lunch said it was opening back up at 1:30 and it was after 1:30 when we went by. SO i never got to mail myself a postcard from CC
So after we got back to the ship we rested up and then got ready for our DIS Halloween meet. It was great. We had about 20-25 children participate.
Since DH and I were kid free we went back to the room to relax and get ready for dinner. We had AP again and this time they had the usual meal and show. IT WAS GREAT. The show of the night in the walt disney theater was Hercules. I was sitting front row center. I got embarrased a few times by some of the characters.. I guess that is what i get.. LOL. We ended the night by going to the adult pool and relaxing for a little while. It was nice and quiet and OH SO RELAXING!!!!! Then we headed up for the night and awaited our day at sea. More to come later!!
