A fool's Disneymoon! (4/3-4/9, CSR)

Oi! Work is killing me! Hopefully Monday I can get posting!

I have to comment on your report. I was reading along and when you got to talking about the dance party, I started wondering if you were there the same day we were. Then I saw the second picture!
I am in the middle of your second picture of the dance party in Tomorrowland. To the left of Stitch. My husband is to the left of me. It couldn't have been any better centered if you were actually taking a picture of me. That is so funny!!
Cool!! I was sad that was the only time i saw Stitch, lol. It's a small world! :goodvibes

Congratulations to both of you! I love love love your pics!

Your hubby could be my oldest son's twin ;) Your dinner at Tony's looks yummy (I loved the artwork on the plate but your dessert looks scrambled! Bet it was tasty tho). We tried to eat there on our last visit but didn't have ressies and the 3 sons that went w/me (DS 28, DS24, & DS17) didn't want to hang out at MK for very long :sad2:

Thanks! My friends and I always say everyone has a twin. :)

Sadly, it was not tasty. I was very upset with it! It was a waste of calories, lol. The rest of the dinner was amazing though! I hope you can get ressies your next trip!

Hi! Just wanted to say I'll be following along. You're doing a good job!

First - I cannot believe you drove for 26 hours straight!...and right after your wedding! Kuddos to you but I don't think I could ever do it. We were exhausted after ours.

Also, we did Tony's last May and my tiramisu looked the exact same. I was thoroughly disappointed too. I had had the same dessert in March 08 (our honeymoon too!) and it was excellent. Sometime between those two years it changed. I don't know about you but I thought overall it was much closer to tiramisu flavored pudding. I don't think I had a ladyfinger in my whole serving!

My mother in law thought we were nuts for driving too! LOL. The ride there was fine, the drive back was awful. Mostly because from Dallas to Orlando there are NO Phillips 66 or Conocos! I was shocked! I think we were just so excited to be headed to Disney we just powered through. Also, I had been working night shifts for about a month before the wedding, so I was getting used to staying up for a good cause. :goodvibes I think a pudding is a better description! There was about a chunk or two of ladyfingers. :sad2: And no espresso taste. It just kind of tasted like whipped topping and chocolate shavings. *sigh* Oh well.

Hopefully I'll be getting on to do this more! I pull the weekend shift at the hospital and things have just been crazy lately. I'm thinking Monday will be the next update. (Last Monday was my husband and son's birthday, so I was too busy!)

We decided to sleep in that next morning after leaving MK at 1am, so we had Pepper Market for lunch.

Th gift shop mascot, because it's adorable and fits well here:

It's set up kinda neat. You get this card that looks like large square graph paper. Then you go to the different stations and pick what you want. The cook will stamp it woith what you ordered, and the waitress takes it and charges you for what they stamped. Not sure how it works with the dining plan, because we paid out of pocket for this one. (Which was a mistake, because we ended up messing up our credits!)

I got the chicken nachos, and Gary got the Steak Burrito.

The servings were huge! The Nachos were very good, but a little heavy on cilantro.

The burrito literally just had beans, rice, and steak. Gary loved it and ate almost all of it.

Would we eat there again? I think so. Especially since it's a quick service. Its really good for that.

So after brunch, we decided we would go to Hollywood Studios!

As soon as we got there, his battery in his insulin pump died. Sigh. You know that camera shop right there? They carry batteries. Just in case. The annoyed look was because I wasn't walking fast enough to the bathroom and was taking all these pictures.

They were doing there little show, and it was getting late in the afternoon. Since Gary wasn't going to ride many rides, I knew it wasn't that big of a deal. We had all the time in the world that day. RnRc was out of the question, and no ToT. Gary kept appologizing for "being lame", but I just told him I knew he was lame when I married him! :goodvibes

I liked the people in costume. And I LOVE her umbrella.

We walked around the shops. It was very hot that day. Before we knew it, the parade had started. We were pretty far back, in the shade of one of the shops. When we bring our son, we'll stake out a better place for the parade, but being two adults we didn't really care too much. That being said, I had to take pictures!

My zoom on my camera is pretty darn good!

When the parade was over, we caught Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Very cute. The puppetry was awesome.

We also went to the character spot!

We had JUST missed Ms. Incredible. :sad1: But FroZone took her place, so that was neat. These guys are really, really freakin tall!

I'll be putting the photopass pictures up soon. I'm having an issue with photobucket being really slow, so uploading is taking forever. :confused3 So anyway...

Then we decided to go to TSM. I know, that late in the day? I'm crazy! :upsidedow The standby time was only 55 minutes and there were no fast passes, so we decided to wait anyway. We talked pins, chatted with each other, and enjoyed the air conditioning.

We also traded hats!
IMG_0245.jpg

Then a really sweet gentleman said that if we were going to do that, we needed a picture of both of us.
IMG_0246.jpg

How nice was that?

Since we were a party of two, we got pulled out of line around the closest building (after the first one) and put up front through the FP line! Woo hoo!

The ride was good, and very different from the video game. I'd say the game is good practice, but doesn't beat the real thing. Oh, and he won by about 500 points. Darn!

After that, we hit up a drink station near Honey I shrunk the Kids... and got a classic and a stop light margarita. Ooooh yeah.
IMG_0247.jpg

It was very good. Right as we were walking by a guy asked us where we got them! :goodvibes We pointed him in the right way.

We saw Muppet*Vision 3D. It was cute (I love Grumpus? Is that his name? The walking shag carpet with big eyes and teeth. You know who. I just can never remember his name!). I really enjoyed the two old men. They were pretty funny.

We walked around a bit more until it was getting close to our reservation time at Kouzzina. OMG Kouzzina. It was amazing.

And a self shot before we left... This was on the boat to get to the Boardwalk!

Next up: an amazing steak and how Gary burnt his mouth!

Hey, we'll be at the BW the same time as you! We arrive June 5 also!! :cool1:

OP: DH and I also stayed at CSR on our honeymoon in September 2009!! Can't wait to read more of your TR!! Oh, and I also got the Minnie ears with the veil and wore them the entire time.... we got lots of "congrats" too! And it sounds like your DH has the same problem as mine... none of the hats fit his big noggin either! ;)

Awww. The one day I wore my silver ears I didn't get a single congrats. So I switched back to the veil. I had to trim it though, it was waaaay too long. I loved CSR. It's so relaxing!

I love reading your TR!! Congrats!!!!

My fiance and I are getting married at the end of May and going to DW on the 5th of June. Until then... I am living vicariously through you! :lovestruc

Woo hoo! Not much longer then! I hope I give you something to look forward to! Oh, you're going to have so much fun!

I did not know you could buy Margarita's at DS.
