Hi all!

My Name is Jennifer and I work for David’s Vacation Club Rentals. This will be my trip report documenting my very first trip to Disney. I remember the day I was notified I would be taking a trip to Disney like it was yesterday. It instantly made me feel like I was 7 years old again on Christmas morning, even better actually.

Not only is this my first trip to Disney but it is also my first trip report, there may be 100 pictures of food and Giraffes so prepare yourselves.

I must also mention that I have waited my whole life to visit Disney so this is beyond exciting for me. I hope this trip report will show my extreme excitement and hopefully bring back some good memories for others.

To start it all off I will begin with the resort I am so lucky to stay at, my favourite Animal Kingdoms Kidani Village.

The Savannah at Kidani is breath taking, as a crazy animal lover I really could have looked at this view all day.

Love the Giraffes, this guy was on his way to breakfast!

The back of Kidani facing the savannah, the architecture is unreal! The whole theme of this resort is truly amazing.

I had to try the Mickey Shaped pancakes, hands down the best pancakes I’ve ever had.

Next on our itinerary is Old Key West. I always liked this resort based on pictures and videos I have seen, but after seeing it in person it is definitely one of my favourite resorts. The vibe is amazing and the sandcastle pool is one of my favourites.

Next we were off to Magic Kingdom. I have no words to describe how amazing it was walking up to Cinderella’s castle. It truly brought tears to my eyes, and much to my surprise we were there just in time for the Festival of Fantasy Parade.

The Little Mermaid float was my favourite- the costumes, thought and time put into these floats is incredible. It was unlike any parade I have ever seen.

I also had to post a picture of a Halloween decoration, love this time of year and Disney definitely knows how to celebrate it.

Our last stop was Grand Floridian! The view from the water is amazing.

To be continued….

Day 2...... We started off with breakfast at the wave which was amazing. Best hash browns I have ever had for sure!

Next on our stop was the Grand Floridian. This resort really made me feel like I was in the Titanic movie...All the Victorian fixtures and wide staircase.

I had to get a picture of the fountain its too cute!

Next we got to tour around Polynesian which I was very excited about. As a major lover of anything Hawaiian-like, I have always wanted to see what it really looks like in person and especially have a look at the Bungalows.

The last resort on our journey was the Wilderness Lodge. I have always liked Wilderness Lodge but seeing it in person has made it one of my favorites. All the beautiful architecture and big fireplaces with large wing chairs reminded me of the beast’s castle in Beauty and the Beast.

The totem poles were gorgeous as well, love the history behind them.

Loves this totem pole as well.

The geyser that I wanted a picture of erupting but tis still pretty cool to see it either way.

We ended our day at Magic Kingdom, went on a few rides space mountain, Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain. I have to admit Splash Mountain is a bit terrifying, especially if you’re in the front!

Just a picture of Cinderella’s castle while waiting to get on the Prince Charming Regal Carousel!

The perfect ending to a great day is definitely the wishes fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. I have always heard it’s so beautiful and amazing but to be there and experiencing it first hand was the best. To be able to see it with people I work with and to see all the families surrounding us enjoying it as well was amazing. It brought back memories of my childhood and how magical it truly can be.

Day 2…..

We started off our rainy Thursday with a trip to see Saratoga Springs. I’ve always loved Saratoga Springs I think it’s a great resort, but I was unaware how big it actually was until we arrived. I love how spacious and peaceful it is.

We rented bikes to tour the resort despite the rain and it was really fun , I snapped a pic of Downtown Disney from the path.

We also rode by the Tree house Villas which were pretty neat as well.

Next stop on our trek was to visit Boardwalk! I absolutely loved the Boardwalk I think it is beautiful and all of the little bakeries and shops are amazing as well.

Really love this fireplace area as well. It seemed so cozy and relaxing.

We then headed over to Beach Club, one of my favourite resorts. I’ve always seen pictures of the Ariel statue but I had to get my own!

Love the décor as well.

Of course I had to get a picture of Storm along Bay, what an awesome waterslide.

Our last stop of the day was Epcot, I have always wanted to go to Epcot and see the giant “golf ball” as I used to call it as a child. What an amazing day it was to see all of the different cultures and traditions.

To end off a great day, no better way than to have a Mickey head ice cream. Where have these been all my life!

Day 4….

We started off our day at Hollywood studios, didn’t take too many pictures as I was too shaky after the Tower of Terror. I have never been so scared on a ride in my life!

I loved this spinning fountain with Miss Piggy.

We entered the Walt Disney museum, what an amazing place to see how it all began. This picture is just of an old sketching desk used to make some of the first cartoons Walt created I thought it was really to cool to see how far animation has come.

Loved this quote!

We then headed to the Sci Fi Diner which I was so excited about! This restaurant is so amazing if you have not been I highly recommend you go. The Vegetarian burger was one of the best I’ve ever had.

After a great day at Hollywood studios it was back to Kidani to get dressed up for the Not so Scary Halloween Party. I was not too sure what to expect from this party as I had not heard a lot about it previously. It was one of the best times I have ever had. Trick or treating around Magic Kingdom seriously made me feel like I was 7 years old again and it was awesome!

The Hocus Pocus villain show was my favourite part. The Sanderson sisters were so good I had to a double take to see if it was actually Bette Midler or not. Hocus Pocus was always one of my favourite movies and they made an excellent tribute to it.

The Sanderson sisters are back!

Next we headed to the Parade down main street USA, my pictures are not the greatest as it moved fairly quickly but I managed to get a couple. The parade was fantastic as well.

Day 5…

Today was our last day in Walt Disney World. Definitely not ready to leave but it has been an excellent trip and I’ve seen and done so many things I never thought I’d be able to.

Our second last stop was to one of the places I was most excited to see, Animal Kingdom. As an animal lover of course this would be one of my favourites. When we arrived at the park our first stop was the Kilimanjaro Safari tour, it was unbelievable!! I managed to snap a couple of pictures of the animals.

The Tree of Life is another thing I have always always wanted to see and it’s more beautiful than I would have imagined it.

Our last stop of this trip was to downtown Disney which was crazy busy but awesome as well. I was pretty excited to see the amphibian cars but we had just missed this one coming back in.

Loved Planet Hollywood!
