A 'final' update from Pat Elliott before heading off...

Pat checked in tonight, for what he said will be his last before Kimberly is born and they are back home.

Paraphrasing.......

Car was packed this AM. Pat and Amy's dad arrived at State College and unloaded the car. They'll be spending the day tomorrow, Sunday, at the hotel, enjoying an indoor pool and lots of favorite card game, hearts.

Monday at the crack of dawn, Amy will have the amnio. Around six PM, they should have the word that Kimberly has mature lungs. Assuming that goes well (along with a night of chewing their fingers, since the nails are long gone), and Kimberly will make her debut Tuesday morning.

Hopefully, I will have something from Pat's dad around noon or so, Tuesday. As soon as I have something, and am at a PC, it will be up here.


Pat adds,

I am tense, but I am joyous. My Lord gave me his son so long ago. Now, he's going to give me one of his angels. I shall spend the next forty eight hours wondering what I did to deserve either. I know you're all with me in spirit Tuesday morning. May the surgeon's hands be swift and skilled. Thanks.
