NOTE: This has nothing to do with the digital transition in February. This is a recent event in the cable company that has just been made known today.
Starting tonight, MTV Networks (they own Nickelodeon, TV Land, VH1, MTv, Comedy Central, etc.) will be pulling the channels from Brighthouse Networks and Time Warner Cable. If you are in service of either network, you will lose these channels. These companies are working out a negotiation, but MTv Networks is not cooperating.
So basically, it is not just Spongebob... it is all of Nick, MTv, VH1, Comedy Central, TV Land, Spike TV, and others.
You can voice your opinion by sending either network an email.

I think that this is just wrong in so many ways. This is seriously messed up...what do you have to say about this?

So all you TWC memebers can keep your channels and sit back and relax.

Side note:
Even though my family doesn't have those companies, I just wanted to let you all know what was going on.

well you can all relax now because of this:
Both sides have confirmed the cable giant(Time Warner Cable) reached an agreement in principle with Viacom
Glenn Britt, President and CEO of Time Warner Cable said, "We are pleased that our customers will continue to be able to watch the programming they enjoy on MTV Networks. We are sorry they had to endure a day of public disagreement as we worked through this negotiation."
So all you TWC memebers can keep your channels and sit back and relax.
