DH is going to get me either XM or Sirius for my BDay. Right now XM has the advantage because they have Fox news and I can listen to Sean Hannity. The music stations are pretty even--the things I like are on both systems. The advantage to Sirius is they will have every NFL game this fall so I can listen to my Browns no matter what.
Some questions though:
1) is there a way to have equipment that works in car and home, or do I need two receivers? I figure once I get used to it in the car (25 min. commute) I'll want it at home too.
2) does either system add holiday channels during Christmas, like AOL radio does? I listen to only Christmas music from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
3) if I get one in my Trailblazer, can I still listen to my local stations if I want to, such as if there is a local weather emergency or I am addicted to the country trivia at 6:40AM every morning on our country station
?
Thanks for the help and any input on which system is better.
