A few ?'s about Cindy's

I have few ?'s about Cindy's that I'm hoping someone can answer.

We will not going till Jan., so I have a little while before I have to start calling. Anyway, do you think it will be easier around the 2nd week of Jan. to book the PS for breakfast?

How hard is to get a table for a party of 8? We are thinking of taking friends with us whose DD turns 4 that month and LOVES Cinderella, but if it will be easier to get 5 in, then I will skip that.

1 more ?. What is the earliest time that is available for this seating?

no! you should call exactly 60 days from when you want to have breakfast at cindy's. and you should be on the phone dialing about 2 minutes to 7:00 eastern time. since your party is large, i would suggest you call prior to time to inquire what number to call; you do not want to waste precious time being "transferred" if there is a direct number if you need to call group dining. but 5 would be easier than 8, IMHO. also, w/a party of that size you **may** not be seated at the same table. http://pscalculator.net/pscalc.shtml this is a link to the calculator that will tell you when you need to call for this all important character breakfast. earliest time is probably 8:00. good luck!

We have a party of 8 and I tried by myself to get the PS and couldn't get it till today. Actually, I didn't get it my DH and kids and friend did. so my advice is get help and use as many phones as possible. You should call 1 407 WDWDINE. Press 1 and interrupt the CM when they begin to introduce themselves(I know it is very rude--but that is the only way it seems to work)Tell them Cinderella's breakfast party of 8 Jan. __ anytime. Make sure you are calling exactly 60 days out. Good luck!!! Start calling at 6:55 est. and keep hitting redial that worked for us.

I agree with the others, start calling earlier ASAP! We went the last week in Aug when there were virtually no crowds and we still had problems booking Cindys. We had a party of 8. Our first day calling we could have gotten it for fewer people but that was no good. Finally on our 4th day of trying both, my mother and I got it! I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but we ended up getting it on a Sunday. Before calling we were hoping maybe a lot of people would sleep in on Sunday and not get up to call. Like I said, I dont know if thats true, but, thats my theory.
As for the seating, we had 2 tables of 4 right next to each other. If I remember correctly, there was a bench type of thing on the inside of our 2 tables so it was like we were all seated together even though the tables were a few inches apart.

I would use www.atomictime.net for my clock and try to get through by 6:58 EST. WDW's clock is only a couple of seconds different than this website. Don't wait until 6:58 to dial, because I did that and CRT was sold out. I got a CM at 6:58 when I did get my PS. I'd get a PS for your smaller group then call other days and try to get a PS for a larger party. You can always cancel your original booking. CRT has tables for 6, and I would imagine 8 would be harder to get. My guess is that if they offer you an early time like 8:15 or 8:30, you're more likely to ask and get a table for the party of 8 than if they offer you seating for 6 at, say, 9:30. The later they offer you a seating for 6, I'd think the leaner the availability. Good Luck!

I just reread my post and think Im suffereing from too much Disney. I cant keep my facts straight. We actually had a party of 7 not 8, but the seating we got was 8. I dont think it really matters to you whether we had 7 or 8 people, but just wanted to get the facts straight. Sorry!
