Because of the hurricane we had to change plans and shorten our trip, but here are a few reviews. It was not busy so we were able to walk into all of these without a PS and as I read over this, I realized we did a lot of snacking instead of sit down meals, probably because it was very hot and humid.
Rainforest at DD- mid day - sat at the bar, had crab dip appetizer and a yummy orange sherbert margarita thing - Excellent with great service. Ds had fun sitting on the animal stools with tails.
Kona Cafe at the Poly - breakfast - while ds was on pirate cruise at GF. I had Tonga Toast, dh had a ham and cheese omelet - Excellent, dh said it was the best omelet he ever had. Service was quick and fantastic. (We had a little laugh when we noticed a CM loading the counter service case with donuts from a Krispy Kreme box...wonder what the mark up was?)
ESPN - late afternoon snack - nachos were good, wings were ok, dh didn't like that they were connected, lol. It was extremely loud with the broadcast going on Dh thought it was a tourist trap, service was ok, not very friendly.
Big River Grille & Brewing Works - desert & a beer - sat outside, the cheese cake with rasberry sauce was excellent, ds had a chocolate milk shake which he drank up before I thought to taste it, dh had a Summer brew I think and he said it was good. Great service, we wished we had come here instead of ESPN.
Bongos - originally walked in just for drinks, to cool off and to check it out. It was about 10 minutes until 4:00 which was when lunch ended and dh decided he'd like to try a Cuban steak sandwhich so he nicely asked the waiter if he could still get it. The waiter snipped "well what time is it?" I said 5 till without looking at my watch...should have just ordered it without asking I guess. Anyway, the sandwhich was awesome, spicy with crusty flat bread and a big pile of fries, plenty enough for us to share. Despite the sarcastic waiter, the service was quick and we voted this the best tasting meal of our trip.
Sci Fi at MGM - dinner right before Fantasmic. Dh had the ribs which were good, although he complained about the small portion. I had the spinache dip which was rich but good, the chips were on the verge of being stale but they were edible and I was too tired to complain. Ds had a hotdog and a terrible strawberry sundae with watery tasting icecream. We also had to wait quite awhile for our check when we wanted to get to Fantasmic. This was our worst and most overpriced meal. I think we would have been happier if we had tried it for burgers at lunch, but it was a fun place to rest and cool off and in.
Counter services
Harbor House at MK - Excellent chicken strips and sandwhiches.
McDonalds at AK - Terrible with a long wait.
Casey's - Excellent, loved their so unhealthy but yummy salty fries.

Chevy's, a tradition for us, always good, excellent service.
