A Few Random Thoughts

We returned home almost a week ago now and I have a few thoughts to share about our 5th WDW experience.

It's amazing to me how there's always more to discover. In the past, we have been so frantic to get from ride to ride that we have seldom slowed down and noticed the little nuances that make this place unique. We noticed so many little pretty places to have a picture made or to rest for a moment that we have always just hurried by. Now I wonder what places I have missed that I will see on our next visit (whenever that may be).

Apart from a couple of guests who exhibited moments of rude behavior, no one really was over the top in the "I am the most important person here" attitude. I heard a few parents scold their kids for a little bit of obnoxious behavior. And I was pleasantly surprised to find complete strangers willing to hold doors open for me so I could get through on the ECV.

All in all we had a good trip. The crowds were manageable, at least for us because we've never been during the "off season". The weather was nice, the people were decent and I am very thankful to have been able to go on this trip.

I am in agreement with you; we went 2 weeks ago and I always feel there is something more to discover and see. We also ran into a few of "those" people who no matter how hard you try, they just don't have it in them to be a happy person. When I run into them I just go into my little chat..."I'm in the happiest place on earth, the happiest place on earth..."
