We leave Sunday morning and I'm trying to prep our packing lists so we're prepared for the marathon day of Saturday packing (we don't have space to have the suitcases sitting out to put stuff in as we think of them). Anyway...

This is our first time staying on-site, and all of our package is through Disney (room and tickets). Tickets didn't come with the materials we got from Disney, but that's okay, right, because we just get them when we check-in? I'm assuming they're linked to our room key in a way so that's why we don't have them yet?

I was also going to bring a few glowsticks (fun for DD at night and to put on our stroller to help find it)... anyone know if I can put one in our liquid's ziplock for the carryon of our flight or should I just check them? They're not flammable, right? (The tube of them is downstairs in a box and DH isn't home to get them out right now and check for me... I'm pregnant, I'm not that lazy ;))

Anything else we should know before we go that we may have forgotten?

We also leave on Sunday! You will get your tickets on your key to the world card which is also your room key when you check in. So dont worry about that. As far as the glow sticks I would be sure to put those in checked luggage. We have taken these for our son on both of our previous trips and I always checked them with no problems. Just be sure not to lock your luggage unless you have TSA locks. They have a master key for these locks so they do not need to cut them off if they need to get into your luggage for any reason. Also be sure to check any creams that are more than 3oz. I took peanut butter in my carryon luggage our first trip and had to throw it out at security. For more info go to tsa.gov (transportation safety association.)They have a whole list of items that are not allowed and what can be in carryon luggage. As far as organizing everything I find it easiest to throw everything small into a medium size storage tote until I am ready to pack it. Does not take up a lot of room and keeps everything together for when I need it. Also makes it easier not to forget stuff. I also make a list of everything I will need ahead of time and check it off as I pack it.

We also booked a package through disney direct. If you are using Magical Express did you get your tickets for that and luggage tags? Be sure to put the tags on all your checked luggage. Also do not forget your vouchers for mini golf, planet hollywood, etc. if you are planning on using them.

Good luck packing and enjoy your trip. This will be our first Christmas trip and I think it is going to be very beautiful and its looking like good weather as well. Lets hope crowds are low.

Merry Christmas!
