A few questions

We are sailing on the Disney Dream in May! I have just a few questions that I can't find the answers to.
When we stop at Port Nassau, how long do we have for our excursions?
Are there little shops easily accessible near the port?

We are wanting to do the blue lagoon dolphin swim, but also wanted to see other stuff and didn't want to be strapped on time!
Thank you in advance :sunny: after years of WDW trip planning, it is weird to not know all the little things in planning this trip!

It may vary a little, but on our cruise last week, we were able to go ashore at 9:30am and had to be back onboard by 5:00pm. There are a number of shops and restaurants within walking distance from the ship - I suggest getting one of the shopping maps on the ship before you head out for the day.

Great, That gives me an idea of what time frame I'm working with. I appreciate the help!!

Hi Amanda, were you on the Dream last week? If so, do you happen to remember who the cruise director and captain were? (Sorry to ask in another thread)

To the OP, there are little shops around the port and most of them sell the same stuff, just different prices. Just make sure to be careful and keep your belongings close to you (carry as little as you can).

Onboard time is usually 5:00P and they mean it lol. Just be sure to listen out for announcements and check your navigator for any changes. One of the reasons to do the actual Disney excursions is that if something does happen with a delay, they at least know vs. doing something on your own.

I hope you have a great time on your cruise!!

I want to say the cruise director's name was Peter? Not 100% sure on that though, and I don't think I ever saw or heard the captain's name anywhere. I just looked through all the Navigators and handouts I kept, and that information isn't on any of it.

Thanks, when we were on there the end of November it was Trent and we didn't care for him so was hoping it's not him. Thanks again.
