A Few Questions...

Hello!

I'm so excited! DS and I are heading to WDW in just seven days! I'm nervous about the heat, but I know it's going to be a great time! Anyway, this is our third trip in the past three years so I mostly know my stuff. I just have a few questions I was hoping you might be able to answer!

1. We've never been to any of the Epcot area resorts so forgive my goofy questions here. We have an ADR at Beaches and Cream and we'll be in Epcot before. So we just go through the gate in the back of the park right? Once we do. BC is pretty much in walking distance correct?

2. We have an ADR for the Wishes Dessert Party. Wishes is at 10 and the ADR is for 9. Should we show up around 8:30 or so?

3. We have an FP for the FoF parade. Should we show up before the FP time slot? Or should we just show up at the beginning of the window?

4. Most importantly... DS and I are planning to stay at Pop. We are on the regular DDP. My sister and nephew are coming down for the first few days of our trip. They want to stay in our room and I've heard that I can simply add them when we get there...for an extra charge. Is this still true? Even though we have the dining plan and they won't? They have separate park tickets...

Thanks for any help!!!

1. Yes.

2. Dont necessarily have to do so as seating is arranged beforehand and not first come first serve.

3. Last time we were in WDW we were allowed into our FP time slot 5 minutes prior.

4. Sorry dont know the answer to this.

4. Yes. But keep in mind it will be very tight. You may want to have a few things to help keep you organized, such as baskets or over the door shoe holders, for all of your stuff.

This is a good suggestion. They are only staying for the first few days or I would have spring for a mod at least. She didn't make a final decision to come until this past week. Hopefully we don't step on each other too much!

If you and your sister are the only adults in the room there will not be an extra charge. I would add them anyway.

Technically, my nephew is a Disney adult as he's twelve. I'll definitely add them regardless...even if we have to pay. I'm just glad they can accommodate us.

If you have a car, you can keep things in there. Disney supplies shampoo and things like that so you shouldn't need to take large containers of those things. My husband and I have "ditty bags" filled with personal items we may need. So, a small zippered cosmetic bag with sample sized toothpaste, a second toothbrush (so you can pack the night before and use your home toothbrush that morning), deodorant, extra contact case (so no need to pack that in the morning) and sample size container of contact solution (again, no need to pack that morning), and whatever else is needed for you all fit into it and we pack the night before. So, just one small bag to pack the same small bag in the bathroom at the resort. Also, use the shelf in the closet for things you don't need all the time. Also, we find putting shoes, ALL shoes, under the nightstand works really well. You just chuck which gets things up off the floor.

We stayed with my son and his family in a value with five in the room (we had an air mattress and we were under the capacity limit) and were fine without needing to bring a ton of things.

1. Once you walk out of the International Gateway it is a 5 minute walk to Beaches and Cream. International Gateway is between the UK and France. You might spend more time in Epcot walking to IG then you will once you are out of Epcot walking to the Beach Club! Even tired kids can make that walk in 5 minutes. Even grandpa's with bad knees make that walk in 5 minutes! :D

2. People do start lining up at that time but you don't have to. Like OP said it is assigned seating and the buffet has ridiculous amounts of dessert that is refilled throughout the party. We loved it!
