Hi. We are planning a trip to Disney the first week of Sept. First does anyone know how the crowds are at this time? We figured since, except for labor day most kids would be in school(except ours:) ) Second we had hoped to bring sandwiches, water and snacks into the park. Does anyone know if this will be a problem?Oh one more.... as far as going to a grocery store... will it be that expensive to take a taxi from WDW resorts to a grocery store?

Crowds after Labor Day are fairly mild but very crowded Labor Day weekend. You can bring water bottles, snacks, and even sandwiches in a small backpack or shoulder bag. Be careful though, heat is brutal that time of year and will melt things like candy bars in the bag. Taxi to an off-site grocery store from your hotel will cost you about $30 round trip. Note, if you are taking a limo or town car from the airport to WDW, most of those services will do a stop and wait for you on the way at a grocery store if you arrange it when you call to reserve.
