A few questions!

We are going during spring break (its spring break for us here but I've heard that california has springbreak during a different week) 14-17th.
About how busy is the park going to be during that week?
Also what all goes on at this elecTRONica thing?

We are going the same week. I've heard different opinions on the crowds...some say more spring breaks will be in April, so the crowds won't be as busy as they normally are in March. Others say it will be really crowded. Either way we've got a plan and are going to have fun!

I forget where I saw it, but I thought I read a crowd predictor that had the crowds for DLR at 8s and 9s for that week. We will be there that week as well. We're used to crowds, so we plan to go with it and have fun. Hope you have a great time!

We will be there at that time as well. Expect crowds! They are closing at 11 so they don't expect quite the crowds they will have the following week, but it will still be BUSY! Get there BEFORE opening, use Fast Pass, take an afternoon break, and close the park. This will help with wait times and such and make it feel not quite so crowded. Enjoy your time and remember, a busy time at DL is better then no DL!

Also what all goes on at this elecTRONica thing?

I'm not interested in Tron or night clubs or whatever else elecTRONica is supposed to make you think about, but it was still kind of cool. We missed whatever the kickoff event is at the Sunshine Plaza but pretty much saw everything else that was on offer. There is a lot of music and dancing. The theming and costumes are Tron-related. This guy Laser Man performs a very cool laser show a couple times a night on the stage across from Monsters Inc. Next to the Hyperion theater, they've done up a recreation of Flynn's Arcade from the Tron movie. It's full of retro video games. The Muppet theater is re-purposed at night to show a Tron trailer, probably was more interesting to people before the movie came out. There is a lightcycle on display there as well. There are some other special effects and little things that go on to add to the experience.
