A few questions for the DL pros!

My wife and I will be visiting Disneyland this Friday (10/17). It'll be DW's 1st trip to DL and my 3rd, but we're WDW vets. We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel. This is a work trip, but we're taking advantage of our time in Anaheim to visit both parks that Friday. Since it's her first trip there, we wanted to hit the main attractions that are either unique to DL or different than the ones at WDW. I've made our ride wish list and feel more than confident we'll do everything on the list at least once (including World of Color), but I had one quick question for the DL experts. Of course, they've added the Magic Bands in WDW and I don't believe that's in force yet for DL. My question is how strictly are they enforcing the FP times now? My previous trips to DL, they were not enforcing it at all, but I know that changes from time to time. Since we're staying on site, we'll get to take advantage of the DCA early morning and my plan was for us to ride RSR and then get a FP for it for later in the day on our way out of DCA that morning. Since we're only spending the first hour or so of our day in DCA and the evening (DL closes at 7pm for the Halloween Party) I wanted to use our FP for RSR at that time. I'd expect to utilize FP throughout the day in DL as well. Thanks in advance for the help!

DLR is enforcing return times for FPs. There is no set grace period, but I've heard everything from no grace period to about 15 minutes (varies by CM). I would plan on returning within the time window printed on the FP.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely do that. I"m glad I asked!

The main issue you might run into is getting the RSR FP for later that night.
The RSR FP seem to be lasting until 12pm-1pm.

You might think about getting to the DCA entrance 30-15 minutes before the Early Entry starts.

Then hit RSR first, Luigis Tires, Mater, and Toy Story.

Then at around 755am head over to Disneyland. Get a FP for Space Mountain, Matterhorn, whichever Fantasyland attraction you want to ride (minus Peter Pan). Then use FP for Space, Grab FP for Indy, do Big Thunder, Mansion, Splash, etc... then use FP for Indy.

You basically want to try and finish as much of DL by 1130pm as you can. Then head back to DCA, get a FP for RSR (maybe a WOC FP if you need it), Have lunch and then either go back to DL or stay at DCA.
