A few questions about PI...

1) Can anyone tell me what is currently open at PI?
2) When is the construction scheduled to be completed?
3) What is the atmosphere of PI (evening hours) with the construction?
4) What exactly are they adding?

(1) All the clubs are open. Most of the shops (with the exception of the Harley Davidson and cigar shops) are not.

(2) I've heard by the end of the year. I imagine they will be under tremendous pressure to finish before the $120/person New Year's Eve party.

(3) Honestly, the outside paths are narrow, dark and crowded. Walking from club to club feels like a cattle call. When combined with the loss of the outdoor band and fireworks, it's just not as festive outside as it used to be. That said, once you're inside, you don't really notice the construction, other than the fact that crowds might be a bit smaller.

(4) A new wheelchair-accessible bridge from the West Side. Lakeside docks, so you can take a boat from West Side to PI to "East" Side (and maybe elsewhere?). New shops, too. Also, they are just remodeling, doing away with the whole "warehouse district" look. Rumor is it will have more of a "City Walk" feel.

The T-Rex restaurant is going in somewhere, as well, but I am still not 100% that will be in PI, and I do not think it is yet under construction.
