We arrive Sunday 12-2 about 10 am and leave Friday 12- at about 6 pm. Flying into Long Beach. Since we can now only get a 5 day park hopper my planning has changed a bit. We are renting a car. Trip is myself, my dd 12 and my husband who likes disney but can get too much (I don't know how that is possible but for him it is.)

-first three nights at the Worldmark Anaheim in a 2 bedroom condo and last two nights at PP concierge.

-My DD wants to see "Hollywood" so I thought the first day we would skip the parks, go see hollywood, get some grocery's and get settled. Looks like it's not too far away but maybe a long drive with traffic? On a Sunday? Suggestions?

-we move to PP on Wednesday, how early can we check in and leave our luggage? Can we arrive at 7:30 am check in and get EE that day?

Plan to hit the parks hard on Monday and Tuesday and be more relaxed wed thur and friday, taking full advantage of the concierge lounge, including the wine/beer and appetizers in the evenings.

Any suggestions?

The only answer I can provide is about Hollywood. From Disneyland area it is about 2 hour drive to get there usually. The 101 always has traffic. I would suggest to park by Kodak theater. There is a parking garage in the mall there that is nice. From there you are at Chinese theater, El Capitan theater, Hollywood Highland, Madam Tussads,Ripleys, and more. I usually go to Hollywood to see a show at Pantages and after we usually drive down to Kodak to walk around. Thats all we really do but I know there is more to do in that area its just dependent on what you want to see. But the area of Hollywood Blvd and Highland is pretty quintessential Hollywood.

When we tour Hollywood, we park where the pp said, see the foot/hand prints, check out the Hollywood sign on the upper level of the Kodak Theatre (haven't done the DL ice cream place yet across the street). We bypass the wax museum and stuff since there's one here.
We drive down Sunset Blvd, go to Rodeo Drive and walk around. We also take a right onto Mulhulland (by that pink hotel---don't know what that street is) but it takes you up up up to the mansions. Last time we drove down Melrose, the kids wanted to get out but we were running late. Then we usually head west toward Malibu, down toward Marina del Rey then head back east to DL.
