I am surprising my husband with a weekend trip to Disneyland for his birthday. We will be there MLK weekend, arriving Saturday, Jan 16 at 6:00 at SNA. I realize that there is a big conference that weekend, so wanted to make dinner reservations before we leave. What time should I make dinner reservations? Since we are coming from the central time zone, we will probably be hungry, but I do want to check into HoJos first. We will not have a car, so thinking shuttle to HoJos and walk to dinner. Do you think 8:30 would give us enough time?
I was thinking about making a couple of dinner reservations and then when I tell him the surprise a few days before we leave he could pick one. I would then cancel the others a couple of nights in advance. Do you think that is okay or will I be causing other people to be turned away?
We do not have any children. I would like a restaurant where he can have a couple of drinks and we could both eat for under $75 total (and less is better). He likes American and Mexican, but we will probably eat at the Mexican counter service place the next day when we are in Disneyland. Any suggestions of good restaurants?
