A few questions about AP's...

To all the vetran DISer's and AP holders out there I've got a few questions that I would appreciate you helping me out with. I'm planning on visiting DL next year twice, and am seriously considering purchasing a Deluxe AP, providing that the blockout dates are not when I'm planning on visiting the mouse. Since I've never had an AP before I've got a few questions. Which is the easier way to purchase an AP...from Disney.ca, pickup a 5 day hopper pass and upgrade when we are in DL, or just pick up an AP once we arrive in DL?? Does Disney.ca email you a voucher, and you go to a ticket booth once we are in DL and exhcange for the AP? This is the first time I've considered getting an AP, so any info regarding this would be appreciated, as this is competely new to me and have never done it before.

When I bought my husbands AP from disney online, they sent him a paper ticket that we took straight to the gate to get him into the park. Later in the day he went to the AP processing center to get his picture taken and viola he had his plastic AP!

I almost forgot... For every 3 day (or longer) hopper pass purchased, you will get one magic morning day included with the ticket. If you wanted to take advantage of your magic morning, then it would be a good idea to get the 3 or 5 day hopper and upgrade to an AP after you use your magic morning..

I agree with Wendypooh22. Buying the AP online is probably easiest, but if you want to get a Magic Morning, then buy your hopper online and then upgrade in the park. It's not very hard to upgrade either. (You'll have to go to the processing center regardless so you're not losing THAT much time.)
