Debating on a quick trip around 12-28/-Jan 2, do they do the christmas fireworks right up to NYE and then do the special ones for new years? I realize it's crowded that week but we've been on July 4th I can't imagine it any worse plus the heat lol.. We would prob just do MK for this quick trip so we can takein the holiday decorations and all the fun plus stay offsite. So I'm guessing we should be there for RD and stay all day to not risk any closings to non resort guest? Thanks for any help or suggestions

This past year, if I remember correctly, the last day of the holiday parade was Dec. 30th, so I would imagine that the fireworks would be the same date.

We are going 12/30-1/4. We were having a debate as to whether we would leave MK on the 30th to eat dinner, and risk not getting back into the park for the fireworks. We ultimately decided not to risk it and made an ADR at Crystal Palace. Would have loved to get Be Our Guest, but to no avail, LOL! :)

My understanding is they do the holiday parade and holiday wishes through the 31st, and NYE fireworks on both 30 and 31st. We will be there on the 30, and have 3 ADR's booked to take a break from the crowds (planning on splitting meals to keep costs down.) We are planning on getting there before 10 and staying aaaaallllll day. We are doing the same thing at a Epcot on the 31st, fun times!

Edit to add: in years past they did holiday wishes earlier in the evening, and the NYE fireworks at 11:50, so you can see both sets.

I'm not excited about staying off property but everything is double and in some cases triple lol...thank you so much for the info

We were there last NYE from 12/30 to 1/3 and will be back 12/27 to 1/2 this NYE! IT was crowded, but without the heat is felt so much better. Plus, we have been enough times that we do not feel the need to ride everything! The decorations are great and the NYE fireworks at MK (on 12/30 and NYE) are awesome. Go and have fun!

No, the other 126 (now) people looked to see if we could answer your question ;).

Especially with such a general subject line. I checked to see if I could help, but I don't know the answers to any of your questions. I never understand why some people get so huffy about someone reading their posts. :confused3
