Here are a few things I learned from our recent trip to DLR. These are some of the questions I had asked before I went. HTH!
1. DLH was awesome. The border on the wall had Tinkerbell spreading pixie dust around the room, and it glowed in the dark. When asked what we did at DLR, DD (4) still replies "we saw the hotel."
2. Monte Cristo at BB was great. DH and I shared it and we still did not have room for dessert. Get there 15 min earlier and get a water view table.
3. Loved Goofy's kitchen. DS (8) loved that it was a brunch buffet, so he prides himself on not eating any breakfast food even though it was 7:30 am.
4. For EE do not take the monorail from DTD, just walk over to the front gates. We took the monorail on the first day and did not get into the park until 9:25 am. Second day we walked (about 5-7 mis from DLH) to the front gates and were able to get on Nemo on the first loading.
5. We enjoyed DL more than DCA, but we saw more characters at DCA than DL. (By the way, we saw more characters at DLR in two days than we saw at WDW in 8).
6. You definitely need 3 days at DLR. Crowds were really low the week after Thanksgiving (did not have to use FP) and we got to enjoy the Holiday decorations.
7. Skip USH it is not worth it no matter what good deal you get on the tickets.
Everyone, enjoy your trips. We sure did.
