I'm just planning my ADR's for a Dec trip (which I still have not talked hubby into and I only have 9 more days until I have to pay the deposit :scared1: )

My soon-to-be 4 year old is the most horrendous eater that has ever walked the planet. His entire menu consists of:
Peanut butter sandwich (no jelly), Chucken nuggets, Cheese Pizza, Plain pasta w/tom sauce on the side, and salad w/ranch dressing.
OK, there may be a few more things, but not much. Last trip we paid OOP and did mainly buffets and CS so we were able to work around it.
But back on topic...I was thinking of trying DDP this trip and have reviewed some of the menus, so here are my questions - if anyone knows the answers I'd be eternally grateful!

The ever present beef and macaroni - can that be ordered w/out beef, or is it basically like meat sauce? How about sauce on the side?

Liberty Tree Tavern - specifically dinner - do they have ANY other options besides the family style dinner for kids? (He does eat mac and cheese, but it has to be more like the Kraft one - smaller noodles, thinner sauce - parents of the picky I'm sure you can relate!)

My husband said last trip that he really wanted to eat at Brown Derby. Assuming I can book a fantasmic package for sometime during our stay (yeah, I know it's late already) would it be OK to have already fed my son CS somewhere but have him join us at the table and snack on some goldfish or oreos while we ate? (He's very well behaved in restaurants, or I would never even attempt this, btw) - would we still have to use one (or 2) of his TS credits?

At most places you can, just get plain pasta. Just talk to the server and they will find something for your son. I think the mac and beef is meat sauce.

With a place like LTT, I think they only have alternatives for allergies and such.

You can absolutely feed him ahead of time and bring him in a snack. Bring some lite snacks and a coloring book so he can be occupied. Since he is good in restaurants he will be fine in the Brown Derby.

Many of the things you mentioned are on the standard kids menu. If I can find were I saw it. I will post it for you and one of the appy's is vegies and reanch dressing. You will be fine.

Have fun.:)

It's the age. We made homemade hot fudge sauce out of whipping cream and dark chocolate the other day, and put it over vanilla ice cream. DD4 kept snitching bites from Grandpa, who, in self-defense, told her it had brocolli in it. She wouldn't go anywhere near it after that, because "I don't like that brocolli flavor." The last trip to WDW, she ate nothing but macaroni and cheese for the entire trip. (She does have a somewhat more varied diet at home.)

I think you won't have any luck at LTT, but any place that's not a set menu will probably be able to do plain / buttered pasta. There shouldn't be any problem feeding him before HDB, but you'll have two orphaned credits - not a problem if you're doing more TS than you have credits, but otherwise, those credits will be lost.
