A few last minute questions

Depending on what your plan is on port days, you might want to bring some cash to use in port as well. For example for taxi fares or tips for guides on excursions. Shopping you would be able to use your credit card, but for small things you might want to have some cash. All the cruise ports I encountered in the Caribbean always were happy to accept US currency in the main tourist areas.
All of our purchases while at POC are paid for with cash in our case. MANY if not most creditcard companies charge fees for international purchases. So check with your CC company (and advise them of your international travel) ahead of time or there is a good possibility your transaction will get declined.

7 days!!! And I do plan to wash once, but I love to have options when I dress
AGREED!! I Pack that way too. I have cruised 7 times and hardly anything comes home unworn. Don't let others convince you to take half out if you want choices!!! There isn't anything wrong with packing this way if it's what YOU want.

Quick note from a proud over packer :) .. as far as undergarments go I pack enough for twice the amount of days (so for 7 days I would pack 14) only because I don't put on the same underwear after taking it off and I take at least two showers per day.
I.e. if i go for a mid afternoon swim after I return and get all cleaned up I need a new pair. I do find myself wearing at least two some days three outfits a day, mainly because I dress up for dinner and since I purchase the picture package I like to always be picture ready.

On port days I usually change right after returning to the ship, and then again for dinner.

On embarkation day I wear at least two outfits, one to get on the boat another one for dinner/ pictures. This is pretty much the same for DH and DS who are both very messy individuals and like to eat.

I also pack a empty beach bag for CC day to carry DS sand toys along with sunscreen, snorkel gear, and other beach day essentials.

Shoes, my DH wears a size 13, so i only pack him 1 pair of sneakers 1 pair of dress shoes and a pair of flop flops since his shoes take up so much space, for myself I pack an assortment of flip flops and sandals but only 1 pair of heels for formal nights.

I think everyone needs at least two bathing suits.

And pajamas I pack about three nice pairs for DS since the ships tend to have fun night time things for the kids to do at the clubs. For DH and I maybe two pajama sets and 1 is pretty much a throw away for disembarkation day.
I also learned to only pack full outfits and things that can interchange, not items the MAY go with with something.
And I start packing about three weeks in advance.
Happy planning!!! Enjoy!!!

Agreed!! Always like fresh (extra) undies!!
I agree with everything except we aren't big swimsuit wearers. We wear ours on CC day and we might use the Hot tub 1 or 2 times and the aqua duck similarly. So unless it is a weeklong cruise, 1 suit for each of us is quite sufficient.

Oh my goodness!! Did you just get inside my head?!?! I'm exactly the same way. Particularly about having a daytime outfit and dinner outfit, two bathing suits foeafh member of the family. We do laundry 1/2 way into our cruise to help from overpacking. I know other people won't notice I may be exchanging articles of clothing, but I will (especially w/picture keepsakes!.)

Thanks! I am excited. I've called before already for other stuff like allergies and I'm all confirmed according to the reps on the phone.

I just have a few last minute questions before my cruise in 3 weeks. (And I may post a few more in this thread as the come to me ) How much cash is needed on a 7 day cruise? I've seen a post somewhere that had a breakdown of how many 1's, 5's, 10's, etc to bring for things like tips off the boat, and other things. I've already entered my CC info on the dcl website to use onboard.
Also, my port arrival time is 2:30. I'm concerned that there will not be and Ana and Elsa meet and greet tickets left at guest services. Are there enough tickets for every passenger?
Ditto what others have said about tipping. We chose automatic tipping so it was charged to our account for us and anything extra we included in the envelope provided was in cash. You will need some 1s for room service tipping.
Regarding Anna and Elsa, there were 2 different days available but space is limited. Go straight to the desk once you board to get in line for those. Good luck!
