How far away from the parking lot is the staging area?
Can family be with us in this area?
At what time do we need to leave the staging area?
How far is the walk from the staging area to the corrals?

It depends how many people are parking! But it isn't too far - easy walking distance. We left the staging area of the Princess about an hour before it seems (or maybe more) but you are in the corrals for a while. Your family can only stay with you in the staging area. The only people that can walk to the corrals are the runners (they check your bib). So, when they start opening up the area for everyone to walk to their corrals, that would be a good time for your family to go to the Spectator areas (if not earlier).

The parking lot starts at the entrance to the staging area but you can be a third mile away unless you park early.

Yes, family is welcomed in the staging area and welcome to head off to spectate once you head to the start. They cannot go with you as the baggage tents serve and the gates to the secured runner’s only area. The walk is about 0.6 miles to the corrals, mostly on asphalt but you do cross the highway median at the corral area.

In the past we were released to the corrals at 5 AM. It is a little earlier now that the races start at 5:30. Expect to start hearing that the path to the corrals is open about 4:30-4:40. Note while waiting in the staging area, that would be a great time to pick out your exact reunion spot.

There is an official viewing area in the north east corner of the Epcot parking lot. You can see the start and watch us passing as mile 4. A better spot is to walk to the Epcot monorail station and watch us there at about mile 2.6.
