My Dh and I are going to be at Universal on Oct 27th we are using the Dreams Unilmited transportation (by mears) from Disney and we added Stay and Scream and the meal deal to that package. My questions are:

Does anyone know where Mears drop off and pick up area is?

I have heard varying times to call mears for your return ride from 3 hours to 1/2 hour, anyone know what it really is?

Has anyone that has actually Used Mears to and from disney care to share their experience?

For the stay and scream do you have to be in the HHN park or just the parks in general since IOA closes later?

My Dh and i want to eat (using our meal deal) right before HHN starts what would be the best way to do that?

I think thats all the questions I have for now but I may have more later!! A HUGE thank you for anyone that takes the time to help me out!!!:worship:

Most will tell you it's better to be inside US instead of IOA before park closing since HHN is in US.

First off...you have to be in the Studios before closing at 5pm to do S & S. There is usually a holding area in IOA at Suess Landing but you won't get in until later so it's better to do S & S at the Studios. Second...the meal deal you purchase during the day does not carry over to HHN...everything is separate. If you have the meal deal, make sure you allow enough time in the Studios to eat before the restaurants close at 4:30pm...they close 30 minutes prior to park closing. If you get to the Studios around 3pm, you will have plenty of time to eat and walk around a bit before heading to the holding area.

I can't help you with the Mears questions...I never take it.

Definitely follow the advice of the PPs who said to be in USF, not IOA. We always do the USF S&S but once we did IOA just to see what it's like. They send you through in little groups so it takes forever and you don't get much of a head start at all.

So you do not HAVE to be in US you can be in IOA?? We are going to be there on a Wednesday and are not too terribly worried about hurrying!

From the sticky thread at the top, it sounds like the IoA option is not working this year so you probably need to be in US for S&S.

That is correct...no holding area at IOA this year...which is different from years past.
