a few dvc questions

ok i am a member and i am getting ready to book our room for a december trip. FIRST QUESTION. we are going DEC. 10-15. i know i can book 11 months ahead but is that from the day you get there or leave. like today is 11 months to the day we get there. can i book it now or do i need to wait. also what number do i call to reserve a room. i know i can find that out wheni get home but just wondered.

You can book the whole reservation 11 months from your check out day, which would be January 16 for your last night being December 15. Sorry but we can't give out the 800 number here.

If you are going to book day by day (and many do for the very popular early December), you can call tomorrow for the first night. That's because the check out day for your first night (12/10/2005) would be 12/11/2005. Tomorrow is 11 months from that.

If you decide to call day by day, just tell MS on the first day that is what you are doing. Don't worry, they are used to it - lots of us call that way for early December ressies. The CM will ask you your final check out day and will note to hold the confirmation letter until after your last call (which will be 1/18, because 1/16 is a Sunday and I think they are closed for MLK Day, whcih is 1/17). You'll end up with one reservation number and one confirmation letter.

I would do what CarolMN said...book day-by-day. Early December is a very popular time for DVCrs.
