A few CBR questions

I just ended up booking 2 nights at CBR because POR was full, so I have a few questions!

1) I've noticed a LOT of people complaining that the resort is too spread out. How far apart are things in comparison to POR? I wish the map had some kind of legend to show distances!

2) I know it's pretty darn close to Epcot, so is there anywhere that you can see some of the Illuminations fireworks from the resort?

I'll probably have more questions as the time draws nearer, but that's it for now!

Excited to try out a resort I haven't been to yet!

I don't think CBR is all that spread out. I have stayed at POR and CBR and thought the walk to different things was about the same.

You can see the fireworks from Epcot from the beach at Martinique or very well from the Customs House at CBR. You can sometimes also hear the music.

Thanks for the info! I've always liked the walk between places at POR- nice and peaceful, so as long as CBR isn't a whole lot more, should be fine! (And hey, at least I'll work off a few mickey bars!)

The only walk I found excessive at CBR was from Trinidad South to the main building - every other 'island' was not a bad walk at all.

We LOVED CBR and yes you can watch the fireworks from the beach and it is a great resort, yes, it's big, as long as you expect that you will enjoy. Have fun!
