A Few BWV Villa Questions for Upcoming Stay

We are staying at BWV for a few nights this spring in a 1 bedroom (I think standard view was the only option at the time) with 2 adults and 2 children:

- Do the 1 bedrooms now have a murphy bed or chair bed in addition to the sofa bed or can you request a rollaway? My children are restless sleepers and I don't think will sleep well in a shared sofa bed.

- Should I request a room in a specific area? High floor? I have elementary school age children and no stroller. Will be taking the bus to MK at least twice and walking to HWS one morning for EMHs. They don't nap but I am worried about night time noise as they go to bed kind of early.

Thanks!

No chair or murphy bed; still has only 4 sleeping places, the king in the master bedroom and the pull out queen in the living room. Rollaway beds are not available. You need to provide whatever additional bed (air mattress, sleeping bag, other) you need.

Not sure of view you have so cannot suggest a request. Are you a member who has reserved the room through member services or are renting from an owner or through a broker that deals with owners? Or are you instead someone who has booked through Disney either on your own or through a travel agent? If the latter, standard means something a lot different from the former.

You might want to request close to elevator as the hallways are really really long and only 1 bay of elevators.

If they have a standard view, close to elevators will put them close to RAC loading zone, DME buses and the valet area which might be noisy.

I've stayed in a standard view 1 bedroom a few times. I request top floor, across from the bus stop. That puts you about half way down the hall, away from the entrance.

I had a studio standard view and requested near elevator as my mom was with me. I got first floor and right across from door that led out to the hut tub at the clown pool. There was a room with ice machine next door. It wasn't too close to portico of hotel so not too noisy. Though I do remember beeping from airline luggage trucks. But I loved that location and would like that room again.

We had standard view 1BR on the 5th floor. It was somewhat close to elevator as well...actually almost directly above the first floor studio we had. There were trees or something blocking view and sounds.

We have stayed in a 1 bed standard 3 times and we always ask for near tennis courts. Here is why...it puts you basically halfway walking distance to Epcot and HS(and I would rather walk than boat to either, much faster IMO). If you have a car you can park fairly near this area(with a little strategy). You can walk out a few sets of doors that will get you either near walk to HS, or walk by pool and loop thru bldg to get near The Art of Disney Store for a quicker time to Epcot, or opposite side of bldg will head you towards busses.
As others have said, halls are long, but this strategy works well for us. Next, high floor is a good request

Again, we need to know whether this is a reservation that went through a member or one through Disney central reservations. Answers above relate to standard rooms if OP went through a member to reserve. If OP went through Disney then standard is a reference to what members know as pool/garden view.

We use our DVC points to stay at BWV. We always get a 1BR standard view and always request top floor across from the bus stop. We've always been near the end of the hallway. This allows a quick walk to the bus stop for going to MK, AK or DTD. However, it is far from the elevators. We don't mind walking a distance from the elevators but if you want to be closer to them, you can request that. It is right near a staircase and we just take the stairs a lot of times. The walkway to DHS is outside that staircase too, right past the quiet pool if I recall correctly.

We were able to see the higher Epcot fireworks every night from our balcony. We've had room 3119 twice, and room 3123 once. We requested the same for our July trip, high floor across from bus stop.

I think I've had both those rooms too!
