A very wonderful trip! Fri Morn started off with me accidentally giving DH a water pill- which I though was his allergy pill.... needless to say he had to pee every hour. 
It took us almost a little over 8 hours to get there! normally it takes 5.30. !!!!! This was a very very very budget trip.... and on our way there FIL called the cell phone and told us too check our bank account- he had deposited $1000!!!! I was blown away!!! He had no idea we was going to Disneyland.... and didn't tell him either. All in all with an extra grand I only went over my original budget of $140 - which went on toys...

Now on too the few bumps in the road to say... please don't flame!! LOL
1. HOJO'S- we had the ent card. I called on thurs at 3 pm and talked to a nice lady named Jessica. She informed me that they had plenty avail and I could call as early as 9 am on Friday to make my reservations. I told her I wanted the $59 room- she said there was plenty. I said for Fri and Sat- she said yes. Relieved I was because DH had deposited our check inthebank but the teller said it would not clear until Friday- and that is why I did not make the reservation at that time. So I am driving and have DH call in house Hojo's at 9 am exactly on Friday- we was able to reserve the $59 room- for Fri only! Apparently they sold out and we had too pay full price for Sat.
But we still did get a discount for the ent card. I argued that I had checked the calendar rate and it clearly stated all kinds of dates for Feb including mine! DH didn't really know what I was talking about. But I was upset. Now I need to say that I do like this motel- its clean, beds are nice and pool area is nice. However, if I am going to pay $129 a night I would have preferred to stay right across the street. There was a moment when I was really wishing I had when me, DS and DD ( who came at the last min) walked from the Hojo's to the baggage claim and up to the gate- pulled out her AP and discovered that she had my DH's AP- which he was going to meet us later for the parade. He had work to do. That ment we had to walk all the way back to get the right AP and then all the way back again to DL! That is one reason why I want to stay across the street next time. I know it was our careless mistake but still! Also- Hojo charged us $15 a night for a roll away bed- because they didn't have a room for $59- for double beds. They could have just upgraded us to a deluxe room for 2 queens for $69. Also, the standard rooms do not have microwaves! Which I did not know about!!! That kind of wasted some money too- as I was trying to heat up food in the room for the kids and etc. But oh well- Overall- we did not save money by staying at Hojo's.
2. The second bump- now this was entirely my fault - I am not a complainer- even though it seems like it here-
I went to the new Paradise Garden on Sunday for lunch. Ordered a chix skewer with Morrocan chili sauce for DD, and the spicy ground beef with Tzatziki sauce for me. They skrewed up the entire order- which I didn't complain about but should have. I was half hesitant as too what I ordered and maybe I didn't realize what it was that I was actually ordering. 
But upon eating.... I discovered that my ground beef was steak covered with morrocan chili sauce and my daughters chicken must have been covered with chimi sauce. She liked hers- I hated mine. However, that pita bread and rice was amazing! It was sooo good!! So since I didnt feel like going up and looking like a fool to ask if my order was wrong or I just didnt know my greek food- DH ate it- And then he got me a hot link corn dog. by now everyone was done eating- except for me- so I ate half of the dog and tucked away the other half for the car ride home- which ended up falling out of the stroller when DH put it in the trunk! So lunch that day sucked- and it was a costly meal!!!
3. bump #3- It was super crowded! I thought for sure it was going to be low crowds- but heck no! It was like it was summer time! Oh well.... The weather was awesome~!!! Even went in the spa and kidland at Hojo's for about 30 min on Friday.
Overall it was a really great trip and I am so happy to have our first ever AP'S!
I do miss the MM- and will either save up for onsite or stay at Best Western Park Place in the future. To either have MM or to save money and be right across the street would be better for my family.
