Who gets the bb offer?
Do all resorts offer it?
If you get it, do you have to stay at the same resort?
Are there specific dates that you are able to come back?
Do you have to stay for a certain number of days to get bb?
Do you have to book a package to get bb?

For example it you stay at a deluxe can you bb to a value?

Just want to have my ducks in a row in the event I get the offer.:surfw

Thanksprincess:

Last fall there was a flyer in our room (value resort) and we called and booked bounceback at one of the villas. (We ended up cancelling that because we decided to do a cruise for our anniversary instead.)

I don't think it was limited to package rooms. It seemed that the flyers were simply left in every room.

There were limited date ranges.

Who gets the bb offer? Everyone - if you don't have a flyer in your room, watch the Resort TV channel for a screen that says something like, "For a HOT DEAL, call #XXXX !"

Do all resorts offer it? Yes

If you get it, do you have to stay at the same resort? No

Are there specific dates that you are able to come back? Yes

Do you have to stay for a certain number of days to get bb? Depends on the promotion.

Do you have to book a package to get bb? Depends on the promotion. For the bounceback free dining offered last year, yes. For room-only discounts, no.

Hope this helps!

I'm also curious about this bounceback. If you're interested, you have to book right then and there? Do you have to put money down? Can you cancel your reservation at a later time if you change your mind? Can someone give me an example of the discount that they might offer for your bb?

IIRC, you have to book before the end of your trip. A $200 deposit was required last year, you could call and make some changes (different resorts etc if avail) or cancel after the fact.

If you think you might want it, you must book before you check out. You have to be a current guest to get the offer. If it's a package deal, you have to pay the $200 deposit on booking. If it's a room-only deal, you pay first night's stay. Standard cancellation policies apply, just like any other reservation.

Bounceback offers vary. Last year during free dining, we were offered free dining for 2008. Since you never know if that offer will be made to the general public, it was nice to get it locked in a year in advance. Other times, the bounceback offer is a percent discount, something like 30% off deluxe resorts, 25% off mods, 20% off values.

If you don't have a flyer in your room or welcome packet, be sure to watch the Resort TV channel.

Thanks, sounds good. I'll be sure to keep my eyes peeled :)
