I posted a request on our local Freecycle site that I was looking for a treadmill or stationary bike. Someone replied that she had both and I was welcome to either. DH picked up the treadmill after work today and hopefully it will be operational for me to start walking tomorrow. Even DD is excited about being able to walk and not have to go outside in the cold. We live in an urban area, at the top of a big hill (halfway up a "mountain"), so walking outside is more a chore than pleasure. I can't wait to walk off these excess pounds.
