A farewell to Food Rocks

Bummer!!! :( My ds loved that show when we went the first time and he was 4. It was a good one for younger ones 'cause of the music and us "older" ones liked the parodies of the music from our youth.
:(

:( food rocks was so cute!! I loved the Peach Boys!!

Glad we saw it last time we were there.

FAREWELL???

Are they taking "Food Rocks" down??? Temporary or permanent???

We were pleasantly surprised by "Food Rocks" too. We literally stumbled upon it one time while spending some time in The Land, and thought the take-offs on some of the classic rock songs were great!!! And although the Animatronics were a bit dated, the vocals were dead-on -- we wondered if it was actually Cher, Peter Gabriel, Little Richard, etc. doing the singing . . .

If it is really gone, we will miss it a lot . . .

(I just hope Cranium Command is not next . . . :( )

:( Darn it. I love Food Rocks.

I wish they would build a park with all the attractions that are no longer at Disneyland or WDW. I would love to go to a park like that :) Just one more ride on Mr. Toad is what I need :)

What a fun concept - a park with rides that are no longer! Bet that park would be a lot of fun for a DISer like myself!

Soarin is a really cool ride - been on it a few times at California Adventure. And I'm looking forward to riding it down at WDW!

I was also a fan of Food Rocks--I will miss it. My husband and I were lucky that we got to see it one last time on our honeymoon. From what I have heard, that area will be part of the entrance or exit for the new Soarin' attraction. That does sound like a really cool attraction to have at the Land. :)

Food Rocks was cute, but it was no Kitchen Kabaret(FR predecessor). SOC is a great attraction.

While there in December, I video taped Food Rocks. I just love it!

My flag has been lowered to half mast in honor of Food Rocks. LOL.
I will miss it tremendously. So glad I saw it in Oct. again before it closed it's doors.

Yes, Food Rock was so good, so was Kitchen Kaberet....but
Soarin' in WONDERFUL!!

Katholyn.....you need a trip to Disneyland....Mr. Toad is still there.

Check out my new timer :hyper:

I hadn't seen Food Rocks since I was younger. For our last trip, I was pregnant so couldn't ride the "big" rides. Luckily we decided to check out Food Rocks. I'm so glad we were able to see it one last time. :)

These are the types of rides that toddler to grandparents could enjoy together, which was Walt's vision. It is sad they are getting rid of them.

I had never seen FR and when I heard Soarin' was going to displace it, made sure to take it in while there in Dec. A very cute show, I enjoyed it.

I have ridden on Soarin's from DCA a few times and it is super, you will love it. Spectacular!!!!!!!

But, always sorry to see the old go too.

I always stopped by to see both Kitchen Kabaret and Food Rocks when I'd come down for vacations or when I'd accompany a friend visiting me from out of town. RIP. And long live "veggie veggie fruit fruit," though I did enjoy Food Rocks quite a bit more.

Hmmm... wonder if anyone has all the lyrics. I don't know if I ever video taped it. :(

Chris is going to be bummed for sure.....:(

Always thought clever... saw it not too long ago for first time in years... and did find it still fun.

Will look forward to 'Soarin'", Dan!! :)
