Our league rules state that your picks must be in by one hour before the first game of the week. We have had people turn theirs in late a few times and we have made the teams use the previous week's players ( same as we do in the DIS league ). Some teams have lost points becasue of this. I am not sure if any have gained points because of this.

I emailed my picks for this week about 15 minutes before the deadline. I accidentally sent it to the wrong email address. It bounced back 5 minutes AFTER the deadline, but before any players had scored ( still before the first game started ). I just saw the bounced email 5 minutes ago --- when many teams are now in the 2nd quarter.

Now if I used last week's picks, a player I played last week but was not intending to play this week, has already scored a TD.

What do you do?

I would send the email again to the right email address and allow the league adminitrator to make the decison which players to use: this weeks or last weeks.

You are SOL, or should be. A typo does not an excuse make.

See, you have it wrong. I would be benefiiting from a mistake.

Perhaps some of them had made the same mistake too.

Sorry, but I say suck it up. You made the mistake of sending it to the wrong address. It was your responsibility to get it to the right people in time. You did not. I guess I don't see why you should be exempt.

Now I have to read my OP again. The "problem" here is that "I" am benefitting from my own mistake. Did I type the wrong thing?

EDIT: No, I typed right. Because of my own mistake, a player I would not have played this week, has scored for me.

Well then lucky you, but I say stick with the rules that have been established regardless if it works out in your favor or not.
