Sorry if this is dumb, but what do you use this for?

They are invitations to various meals. Generally, the invites are for special meals, like character meals or meals that require reservations. The requester prints and gives them to family members/those in their party either in advanced or the day of. It is just a special way to announce where you are eating.

I am having a hard time determining what others have done/are going to do. Has anyone made or going to make the following for you:

Backlot Express, Hollywood Studios - Maybe like a Mickey and Minnie (or whatever character) in the film director type wear Monday 1st July 2013.

The Mara, Animal Kingdom Lodge - Guess any animal link would be fine Tuesday 2nd July 2013.

If not, I will make those. Please let me know.

Hi Dee,

I believe Marion is looking at doing some, although not specified actual one's she would be doing.

I mark off the one's in red that have been done to save people wasting time on them.

I haven't asked anyone anywhere else on the site to do them, just this thread, although it only has been yourself and Marion who have responded, so don't believe anyone else is doing them.

I just noticed your comment, dear god no, that is awesome.

I've also kinda changed my request a little for our stay at CBR. I asked originally for a Mickey type pic, but I'd rather have Jack Sparrow if possible as we're staying in the Pirates Room and the theming is based round that movie/character.

Thanks for the reassurance.
Here is the Caribbean Beach Resort. Let me know if you need anything changed. I don't want to sound pushy, but I thought I would at least mention the following (feel free to ignore it). We stayed at Pop Century. Obviously, if you are going to be there for an event or meeting someone at the resort then it makes sense to eat there. However, if you are making a special trip strickly for the resort's food, grounds or decor, you may want to consider a different dining location. Just thought I would throw that out there.
*Side note: We had a great time and would gladly stay there again! You just may find going to multiple places in a day is exhausting.

When I Google "Dine with Shamu" I get a place at Sea World. Is that correct, or is there a restaurant in Epcot? If there is a place in Epcot, will you please post a link to the description. I want to make sure I make the correct invite.

Hi Dee,

Apologies for a couple of errors.

Firstly that CBR pic is absolutely fantastic, perfect. However my mind is obviously frazzled a bit, sorry I should have written 28th June, not 29th, my fault.

And you are correct with Dine with Shamu, god knows where I got Epcot from, it is indeed Seaworld. If you don't do non-disneys no worries. There is not a time specified, it is a dinner sit (they allocate a time on arrival that day).

And any information you have is much appreciated, we haven't been since the end of the90s. We were originally going to stay in Pop Century, until our holiday took a new route hence the Pirates & Mermaids Trip. However you kindly made up a lovely Art of Animation, Little Mermaid invite. This is found just over the generation gap bridge which leads me to Pop Century, both resorts are next to each other (supposedly they were going to make Legendary Years, but never started it and ended up being the AOA). I probably wouldn't have bothered if we were further away, but quite fancy a bit of a scenery change and like the layout of the place, and we love our music from the far back era, so hope to enjoy that too.

I assumed you had a good reason for the Pop Century meal. I agree with you, a little scenery change can be good.
I fixed the Caribbean Beach invite. You may want to post a request for the Dine with Shamu meal with M_I_C_K_E_Y (Amy). She only does non-Disney DISigns. She is great!
