A & E - the struggle is REAL

So we're staying offsite and my 30 day FP+ window is tonight at midnight. I have a 3.5 year old daughter who is obsessed with Anna and Elsa and everything Frozen. From what I'm reading on the boards, the FPs are probably all gone at this point. It looks like I'll be checking for openings every day from now until park day. Any suggestions in case we can't score a FP+? Best time to go?

We just got back yesterday from an offsite week long trip. I also tried like a mad person to book A&E, I did not get anything at midnight 30 days out but did get lucky and got 2 FP+ after checking constantly on MDE. I tried every day after that to add a 3rd with zero luck. A very sweet person did PM me as they were canceling their A&E FP+ but it was the day we were flying in and couldn't make it. If you can't get them I would go to the MK on a recommended day and go standby. It stinks, hopefully this madness will die down soon.

I just took a look and I can find openings here and there in the next 30 days for 1- didn't check every day, but with what I did check, nothing for 2. But, that's within 30 days, you may just luck out, you never know! Just be sure and check the last day possible first. Drop to 1 if you have to, then try adding your daughter on. Good luck! This craze can't last forever, can it???

We'll be there the week after Easter, so yeah, it'll be a pretty busy time. And no luck with the FP+ at midnight. I stayed up late for nothing. Well, not really. I was lucky to get 7DMT. The earliest spot was for 9:45 pm. Yikes! That's gonna be a late night. I bet by tomorrow those spots will be gone too. Madness!!!

man this meet and greet is still hard to come by...geeze I thought at least maybe some of the Frozen hype would have let go!

Definitely keep checking! As a backup, you could see A&E at the 3 o clock parade and then again at the singalong show in DHS. I know it's not the same as a meet and greet, but it still fun and a way to see them. You might be able to hype it up as a very special show, etc. She's pretty young so she might not even realize they are meeting? Good luck!

Try getting for one person at a time with overlapping times. That's what I did as long as the overlap you can all go in together.

If you're more than 60 days out you could make a 1 night throwaway reservation at the cheapest resort on property and just not use the room. Might cost you a hundred bucks or so but you'll have access at 60 days that way.

OP--any objection to just getting there at Rope drop and doing standby immediately? Lines will be the shortest of the day (except maybe just before park closing).

We were just there on Sunday and did not have FP+ times for the meet and greet. We ended up doing standby at around 10:30am. The posted wait was 45 minutes. The actual wait was about 20. Compared to the 3 hours we waited when they were at EPCOT, not bad at all! So, it is doable, I would say, even without a FP+. Good luck!

I was also just there. We didn't meet them as we just did in January, but I regularly saw lines under an hour on my app, even with crowds.

Standby times for A&E have dropped considerably from what they were a few months ago. When we were there for the Princess race weekend, the other side of PFH had a longer line than A&E. But like somebody said earlier, rope drop is your best bet if you can't get a fastpass (that's pretty much true for any attraction at any park).

Wow, just checked that site and it says that A&E are booked into May already. We are going over Spring Break (much to my disapproval) and only have one shot at MK, so I guess I will have to be hush hush about A&E or stand in line a long time.

Go at rope drop, go directly to the stand by line and wait. That will probably be the shortest wait. It's not a FP but it's doable.
