A&E or 7DMT best for post-BOG rope drop?

Wow, I just re-read my thread title and chuckled at the new language Dis-boarders speak! Love it! Anyway, our group of 6 hasn't yet been able to get FP+ for either A&E or 7DMT, but we want to do both. We have a pre-rope drop BOG which should be done prior to park opening and wondered which would be most beneficial to head to after breakfast? We also will be doing MNSSHP, so would that be a good time to do one of them with less wait time? Thanks!

The best time to hit both of those attractions is later in the evening before closing time. Just keep in mind that the A&E line closes a half hour before park close. Just a few weeks ago, we visited A&E a few minutes before 11:30 pm. The posted wait was 90 minutes but the actual wait was less than 10. We still had enough time to head over to 7D and ride twice before the park closed at midnight. The posted wait there was 65 minutes but we rode twice in just over 25.

We felt that A&E + 7Dx2 in about 30 minutes was a pretty efficient use of our time and better than what could be done any other time of day.

From my experience in May there was a very small group of people (approx 20-30) waiting to go to either attraction. You'll just have to chose what one your family wants to do most. For us, it was 7DMT. We got to ride 7DMT twice before the rope drop people arrived so I guess its *possible* depending on what time they let you start riding, you could do one ride on 7DMT and quickly make your way to A&E before RD arrives. This is assuming they let you ride early at all. Depending on how many tickets are sold for the party I've heard lines are typically a little shorter during party hours.

I would plan to do A&E first and then head to 7DMT. Just my personal opinion, but I hate waiting in lines for characters. For 7DMT at least you will be moving and there is the interactive stuff to keep you occupied as opposed to just standing there in fairytale hall.
