Not an EMH, so park opens at 9AM. Don't have a FP+ for A&E and really want to see them. Just called the hotel (Pop C) and they said buses don't start until one hour prior to opening (8am). Meaning not at MK until 8:30, no way we'll be in the first group for A&E.

Should we take a taxi? won't it drop at TTC and what time does monorail start?

What is the best way to see A&E without FP first thing? Can't make a ADR, sold out.

Yes, they start running at 6:30 so that guests with early breakfast ADR's have transportation. We had an 8:00 a.m. MK opening when we were there a few weeks ago and we were getting on the bus at our resort (AoA) at 6:50...and the bus had been sitting there a few minutes before we got on.

And for the record, when you call the "resort", you're actually calling a call center that's not even located on property. The accuracy of information dispersed by that call center is not very high. Even if you're at the resort and call the "front desk" from your room, you're routed to a call center. The best thing to do is actually walk to the front desk and speak to someone in person.

ETA: Even though MK had an 8:00 opening that day, there were also buses at AoA that were heading to Epcot and DHS. We didn't see the DAK bus, but I'm sure it was running as well.

And still don't ask them anything transportation related. The only CMs you can trust when it comes to transportation questions are transportation CMs.

Absolutely correct about buses starting at 6:30am...every day, every resort. BUT....they tend to run less frequently, so if you arrive and the bus you want is just leaving, you might have to wait 20+ mins. So be sure to leave enough time....better to be early than stress about being late. To get to MK in the first 'swarm' I would plan on being out at the MK bus stop by 7:30...latest. A bit sooner would be better.
