A DVC Question about a Disabilities Issue

Can anyone who has stayed in an accessible DS at the Poly verify for me if the beds have drawers like the other Studios? The reason why I ask is that I know the bed will be lower and that may limit the space beneath the bed. I am
staying DVC using points. Thanks in advance!!

Yes, there are drawers under the bed.

@Missyrose this looks like a regular bed. I've seen this photo all over the web before. I'm looking for the bed that is lowered. This doesn't seem to be that one. Thank you for your response though.

If you go to www.disney.go.com , you can do a room search and pull up actual pictures of a room in that category. I'm not sure if this link will work because it was based on a room search for specific dates and also filtering so it showed only the wheelchair accessible rooms with roll in showers:

These pictures show what came up on the search, so looks like a platform bed without drawers.
There are different types of handicapped accessible rooms. It's possible the wheelchair accessible studios that have a tub and shower do have to beds with drawers. I only searched for those with roll in showers.

Yikes!! They really want us to live out of our suitcase eh? Does the HA room still at least have a closet? I have heard that at some resorts the studios that are accessible lack closets. @SueM in MN
