Part 9 - Vow renewal pt1
Hi again, during our planning last year we decided that we would in fact renew our marriage vows. This has been wonderful to plan, as first time around we didn't have a great deal of fuss at all, and our marriage has had a lot of ups and downs, like most peoples. We just feel that we would like to say 'I do' all over again to re-affirm our love to one another.
Lots of planning has taken place for this and eventually 15 months later everything is finalised, so here goes.
Where, when and who?
The ceremony will take place at Fulton's Crab House. We didn't have any difficulty choosing this. As soon as we saw that it was offered we instantly picked it. The date it will take place is at 11am on the 15th October 2012.
After the ceremony, we will have lunch on board Fulton's, and then retire to OKW where we will have a little pool time, before getting dressed again and head to the Grand Floridian for drinks in Mizners, then a sit down meal in Citricos.
The party is quite small, consists of our little family of 6. Nicks parents and step father. Our friends, Jean, Phil & Rhys and 5 more friends from the UK, totalling 17 of us. Sadly one of my close friends lost her battle to cancer earlier this year and wont be with us. She and her daughter were going to be a big part of our day, but unfortunately wont be there.
The colour scheme
We always wanted ivory and burgundy, but we have thrown in a black and white polka dot to make things stand out. You will soon see as I add lots of photos of bits and piece how the colour scheme works.
Floral
Our flowers are been arranged by 'flowers by Lesley' and I have gone for white/off white rose and calla lilly bouquet.

All button holes apart from Nicks are rose, his will be a calla lilly.
Charlotte is the flower girl of course and will have deep red roses in her little petal basket.

Beth has opted for a corsage instead of a mini bouquet.
Either side of the alter we are having an arrangement of flowers which will be mainly white with a little deep red/burgundy. This is what we are after:
On the table we are having trio of vases with a white rose in water and a polka ribbon around the bottom. Similar to this, if you can get the picture.
More details to come soon
Thank you for reading along
