I love my combi double! It's my disney stroller. The carry strap makes it very convenient to bring on the busses. It is compatible with the combi car seat. If you'll have a younger baby in the stroller, the seat has a "safety boot," which is just a flap of fabric that wraps from the bottom of the seat up over the lap bar. We used this with my twins when they were 5 months old and I didn't worry about them sliding out of the stroller.

That said, the combi feels "creaky." It doesn't have a solid feel to it and that seems to be the most common complaint. It's not unsafe, it's just the suspension.

I found my combi on Craigslist for almost $100 off and then I ended up trading my sns- so I got mine essentially for free.

About the baskets-The combi has a full handlebar instead of the umbrella stroller type handles. We have a backpack that hooks to it and then we also bought a "Mommy Hook", to use to hang bags or cooler on.

It works out great. If you are going during a busy time and plan on using the buses- I think you will love the combi. The minijoggers don't fold flat and take up a lot of room.

Good luck with your decision. I know our combi takes up less than half the space of our sns in our van.

Maybe it is just my kids but I had a combi side by side and my older one was constantly bothering the younger one and feeding her. It was tough because I could not see what was going on with the umbrellas down. We switched to an Evenflo front to back with the third baby. I have to say I love it for two reasons, the easy fold and the fact that my two older ones can just step up in the back seat without me having to lift them over a bar. Very convenient when we are at the zoo.
