I haven't seen any threads on honeymoons lately, so here we are!

(and here's where I get nosey)
When will you be at Disney? Where are y'all staying? Where are you planning to eat? Any special plans or things to do?

Our wedding date is May 16th in New Orleans (a quick shout out to fellow WHO DATS!), where I'm from. We fly to Orlando the following morning. We're staying at POR, and will be using our $500 gift card on food.

Two character meals (Crystal Palace, Garden Grill), and a few other places. Plans include MK, Epcot and just general chiling out, resort hopping and stuffing ourselves with as much seafood as we can!

Hi there i'll be honeymooning at WDW June 12-18. We are getting married on june 4 in cincinnati, OH. I know that its a week after our wedding that we will be at disney. We are driving down and making a few stops on the way.
We are staying at Caribbean Beach. We just missed the promotion for the gift cards. We are planning some character meals (crystal Palace, Chef Mickey).
Something that we are doing special is a photo shoot with Randy Chapman. DF agreed to it since he convinced me to have the wedding in Cincy instead of WDW.
But i am still planning so i'll be able to add more to this later.

Hey! We are getting married in November here in Indiana. I haven't booked it yet but we are hoping to have our honeymoon the first week of December -- at the Grand Floridian if I can get a great AP rate or PIN code. I've never stayed at a deluxe before so I'd REALLY love to stay there! We always do the dining plan and I'm sure we won't miss Narcoosees, Coral Reef, Tutto Italia and a few others. We'd also like to try Victoria and Albert's if the budget allows. Maybe a couples massage at the spa? Sounds like fun to me!

Are you guys doing the honeymoon registry? I am thinking about doing it once we book, any pro's/con's of doing the registry?

We are getting married in December in Oregon, then we are flying to Disney World!!! Hopefully going from December 12/13 to the 21/22. We want to stay at POFQ!!! I have been trying to get some good romantic ideas, but so far I have just come up with a carriage/sleigh ride at Wilderness Lodge, and MVMCP (Im not sure how romantic that is, but I know we will have fun with it!!!) But that is all I have so far, I would love to know what others are doing so I can get some ideas too! :thumbsup2

We have to wait another week for the exact Ceremony date & location, but we have already booked our rooms for the wedding & honeymoon(federal employees so we have to ask for leave 1 year in advance). Anyway, we will be attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, taking the EPCOT Segway World Showcase Tour, dining at Le Cellier(Canada), La Nouba Night with family & friends, will attempt to get tickets for a special Dinner or Lunch during the Food & Wine Festival, otherwise will just eat & drink our way around the World during the Festival and will be hitting Universal for Halloween Horror nights and if the convention is in town that weekend, Screamfest a horror convention. :cool1:

yay! A disneymoon thread!!

We're getting married Sept.18 in Ontario, Canada then arrive at the Polynesian Sept.20 for our 7 night Disneymoon...planning on adding the DDP and going to Cali Grill, Jiko, Le Cellier, CRT (breakfast), Coral Reef, Mama Melrose.

Im still trying to convince DFi to do the MNSSHP but im not sure yet...it's his first time and I didn't want to over do the disneyness. I'm hoping we can go though...i would love to wear my wedding dress as my halloween costume :lovestruc

We are getting married in las Vegas on august 29 and leaving for disney on the 31. I was lucky enough to get a pin code so we are staying at wilderness lodge. We are spoiling ourselves with the deluxe dining plan and will be doing a lot of the signiture restaurants. I am thinking about bringing my dress and doing a photo shoot in the parks but don't know if we will be able to afford it. I am so excited I can't wait!

What a GREAT idea to wear your dress as a costume!!!! That would be too cool! I think the DF would atleast like the Parade, as it's so fun when they turn off all the lights & the Horseman rides thru the Park! What's Mama Melrose?

One more question...what is a "pin" code? I see that other people have mentioned them.

I got an email that had what Disney calls a pin code. It is just a code that allowed me to get 40% of deluxe resorts. I'm not sure if they have to send it to you or you can just google it. If it wasn't for the discount we would be staying at one of the value resorts. Now we are staying at a deluxe for pretty much the same price. I can not wait!

Hey I'm from Guelph as well!! Are you getting married here?

A pin code is a discount offer that Disney sends directly to a customer either via email or regular mail. It contains an offer such as a certain % off, free dining, free gift card, etc., always for limited dates. The code is non-transferrable (so someone can't give you there's). No one knows how people get selected to receive codes, but in general registering with DIsney's website might help. Sometimes the codes will be released to the general public later on so anyone can book the deal and sometimes they won't

That's too funny!! We are doing the same thing, same time.
We are getting married in november in NY, then honeymooning the beginning of december. :thumbsup2 So excited!!

Here's what we are thinking:
Victoria & Alberts
Bistro De Paris @ Epcot

HOPEFULLY Discovery Cove....this will depend on the cash flow after the wedding.
Congrats everyone!!:cheer2:
MAYBE a wishes cruise....not sure if it's worth it though.

We are having our Disneymoon June 13-19. We are staying in Bay Lake Towers, on the lake side but I hope we get on MK side. I am planning on a few night meals, have not picked out what restaurants yet. DF only food request is to eat at Earl of Sandwich. lol I am trying not to book every second and just enjoy the vacation. The only thing we have planned is the La Nouba show.

We're also getting married on Sept 18 and arriving at Disney on the 20th. We are staying at the Boardwalk for 12 whole nights! I'm so excited. We added the DxDDP, so we're planning on eating at all the Signature restaurants and also many, many more restaurants. I am going to be so happy to eat all that good food after dieting for so long before the wedding

Wow! That's really cool! :) We are getting married on Nov. 20, so rather than try to vacation over Thanksgiving (expensive and we'd miss the holiday!) we figured it was smarter just to wait till the week after...value season at Disney! :) Hope you enjoy your honeymoon! :)

Hey I'm from Guelph as well!! Are you getting married here?

No...in Ingersoll...at the Elm Hurst Inn :lovestruc are you getting married in Guelph???

Wow! 12 nights!! I wish we could stay 12...we were going to DxDDP too but with CL I figured it would be way too much food...we're still planning on doing a few signature restaurants though...California Grill on the 20th for sure!! Im with you on stuffing my face the whole trip..i'm not looking forward to the dieting before wedding buisness...

No, we couldn't find anywhere we liked for a ceremony or reception anywhere in Guelph or K-W, or even Toronto. We are getting married in Epcot, WDW, and having our home reception at the Lamplighter in London. That is awesome you are getting married there...I've seen lots of great pics!! I lived in London for a bit, and drove by Ingersoll so many times, but I haven't really been there!
