Greetings brides and brides to be!

I've been tossing ideas back and forth with myself about having a non-traditional type guestbook.

Finally, I think I've struck gold!

I never was a big fan of guestbooks personally, I always knew it would be one of those things I'd look at once or twice and forget about for 40 years.

So I started racking my mind trying to think of something different, that I could look at all the time and be reminded of our wedding.
I was really stuck on photomats for a while, as well as the platter with etching pens.

Then I had a lightbulb go off!

I knew I had to have it the moment I though of it and nothing else would do.

I wanted a painting done, which my guests could sign.

Lucky for us, or maybe more so me? hehe, we know quite a few talented artists.

So I'm now torn with what I actually want the painting of.

At first I was going to do just mouse ears in the middle with our names and wedding date on either ear. (This goes back to DF's and my first trip together in 03, I HAD to have the ears handpainted and DTD was booked solid. MK Chirstmas store came through though).

Then I started thinking 4 squares Warhol style with ears.
Or maybe just Cindy's castle?

I'm open to any other Disneyesq suggestions as well.
I'm so geeked that I'll have my painting I can't decide at all what I wanted painted now!

Edit:
This picture is kinda horrible, but you all know how a long day at MK is in August.
not the best of the ears but my camera is being non-coopertive right now.

just in case no one knew what I meant with handpainted ears.

What about a painting of your favorite place in one of the parks? Or maybe the spot where he proposed? :)

Could you do a painting of you two with a cinderella feel to it. Say take a picture of him "proposing" and have your artists paint that with the castle and carriage in the background. Also, instead of a ring they could paint a glass shoe or something.

I like the Andy Worhol type painting too. Very Unique. I would have it with the castle though. To me it seems a little more wedding like than Mickey Ears. Unless they are the bride/groom Mickey Ears.

BTW, Cedar Point is the best place ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, behind Disney of course. :rotfl:

:thumbsup2 Cedar Point!!

I'd be lying if I tried to say we went any less then 20x a summer.
Season passes are a huge bargin!

I love the idea of the castle Warhol style, for some reason I didn't even think of that.

I'm going to have a harder time deciding on a painting then I did with my dress:rotfl2:
