A different stroller question...

When we go to Disney next fall I will have two 4.5yos and my DD will have just turned six. We are going to rent a double stroller.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a type of stroller where a third child might be able to hop on the foot rests or something? Not for long periods of time, but maybe for short breaks?

From pictures online it seems like the Bob Revolution Duallie from Kingdom strollers might be our best choice, but have no real world experience with any of the stroller brands offered.

Last time we went we took our triple stroller, but we have since sold it because we thought that would be excessive for our next trip.

Any ideas?

Can't do that with a Bob-we own one. Only one company rents the glider board attachment for the city mono series-baby wheels Orlando. However you have to meet them in your lobby if on property-they can't drop with the bell hop.

we're renting a city mini GT double from baby wheels orlando, and it has an option for a boogie board at the back.. would that help?

We own a BOb duallie and I will differ from the other poster. You can indeed put 3 on it. Two children in the seats, one child sits in the front on the spot by the feet over the 3rd wheel. We have put a lot of weight on our bob, way over the 100 lb limit. Still pushes easily. Buy the big negative is it's a terrible fold. Very bulky and hard on wdw buses.

She's right you technically can have someone sit in the footbed area. However, I am just thinking of my three boys who are 5,3, and 1 and someone would fight, fall, or something else. For my sanity, I wouldn't but that may just be me. yes, they are a pain to fold and cumbersome on buses.

We dealt with our triple stroller on the busses, and that was difficult. We could deal with a difficult stroller again, but would rather not. It being bulky is part of why we got rid of it.

Honestly, strollers on buses is one of my least favorite parts of the trip. Not fun-I definitely feel your pain!

With those ages, your easiest solution is going to be to make one of the little ones walk when the oldest needs to sit. Your littles aren't very little, so it should be easier than dealing with anything bigger than a regular double stroller.

We kick ours out of the stroller when they're 4 because we refuse to have a stroller bigger than a double (we don't have twins). They do fine as long as we don't run them ragged. Every once in a while I'll wear the baby as we're leaving the park so that we can put one more older child in the stroller, but that's mostly so that we don't lose them, not because they can't walk any more.
