Hello everyone. My husband and I are taking our 4 year old twin girls to Disney in September of this year. My parents will be meeting up with us about halfway through our trip. My plan is to have my parents take the girls 1 day so that my husband and I can have some time together since we will be there on our 10th anniversary. I was wanting to do a couples massage at the Senses spa at the Grand Floridian but not sure if we should do this in the morning or afternoon. What other things would you do if you had a day at Disney alone without the kids?

a massage, then a romantic dinner and spend time either at Food/Wine or Disney Springs. :)

Our plan is brunch at California Grill. On another day, we're doing dinner at Epcot, photos with PP photographers, a stroll around the World, and hopefully Illuminatons in peace :)

I'd do all the the things that are a chore, burdensome, or expensive with kids. For us, spending lots of time exploring World Showcase in Epcot is much more relaxing and enjoyable without kids in tow. We find park hopping is easier as a couple when fewer belongings have to be brought along and we can zip through crowds faster. This is also the time we'd splurge on signature dining.
