So, we are heading down to Orlando mid October and staying offsite at Marioot Harbour, doing 2 days at Universal, a character dinner at a Disney resort(still debating dinner or breakfast) and thought it would be nice to take the kids to the ocean for the day.
We usually take a vacation in June to Emerald Isle, NC but do to budget crunches did not make it there this past year and we could all use a day at the beach! We prefer a less touristy type location. Something a bit more "natural" with sea oats, sea shells and a laid back uncrowded feel. A nearby bath house/restroom would also be much needed
Any suggestions? How to get there from Orlando, etc.
