Oh my GOODNESS!!! How COOL is that?! 1000 posts...I'm thrilled that my 1000th post was to THE Backstage Gal!!!!

i wish I was writing my next chapter, but I'm just taking a quick break between bringing orange juice and insisting that Sally GET BACK INTO BED!

She's a got a fever. Rar. Poor kiddo...can't catch a break.

I hope I don't catch her fever...cuz THAT would be even more not fun!

:goodvibes

Allright I'm only on page 7.....but i'm lovin your report...

Great writing.....
It's a gorgeous day out there and I'm holed up reading this....
Can't tear myself awaypopcorn:: :surfweb:
Keep it coming

Of course I was crying as I watched. Sally is so like her daddy. She has a very special way with children who have special needs. She is very patient and kind and protective of these kids. I was so dang proud of her I could barely breathe.

I just loved how Sally helped that little girl! Wow what a great kid! She is really compasionate and stands up for the rights of other children. I bet you guys were just beaming with pride. Way to go Sally! :cheer2:

It never ceases to amaze me how some people let their children behave so selfishly. Where were the glitter girls parents? Glad that they were taught a lesson even though they pretended to ignore it.

Took me 2 hours to get through the 26 pages. :lmao:

But I'm loving it Miss Cammie, you have me totally hooked.

Go, Sally, go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an amazing story! She is such a kind-hearted young lady. I do not think you have to worry about her ever being spoiled, no matter how long it takes her to open her presents at Christmas. She sees the needs of a special little girl and instantly becomes her protector. She obviously thinks about people other than herself, unlike the Sparkle sissies. I am so glad they have that one-per-family rule!:woohoo: I would have hated to see their rudeness rewarded. And good for the dad for speaking up.

And Teddy continues to crack me up.:rotfl:

I leave in two days; I hope there's a lot more to this TR when I return!

I am lovin this report! I am an "ex" wicked stepmother. Boy the battles I had.

You are doing an excellent job with your stepchildren. Don't ever let your guard down. I didn't have the luxury of a husband that would back me up so I was wicked.

You are totally hilarious! One minute you have me belly laughing and the next, I'm all teary eyed, blotting my eyes so know one will know kind of thing.

Your children are great. They must be getting some values from somewhere:thumbsup2 !!

Okay y'all, I CHAPTERED the TR...so those of you who don't have time to slog through the chitty chat can just read chapter by chapter!

I do hope that means people won't quit talking to me...b/c I need the gratification.

seriously. I do.

I do.

:goodvibes

new chapter soon!!!!

Hi Miss Cammie! I know it's just me.. but I can't find the index... can you put a link to it? And I promise to "chit chat" you in response to future chapters. I am LOVING your report!!!
______________
2 minutes later; never mind! Found it!!! THANK YOU

I won't be getting any work done today, because now that Miss Cammie's TR is indexed I find myself HAVING to go back and RE-READ every single word of every single chapter. I love it just as much the second time~! Amazing report.

I'll be at WDW next week, and as I said earlier, seeing Sally and Teddy and Miss Cammie and Jay at every turn....

Thanks Jodyb!!

I'm glad I was able to figure out the index thingie. I'm so glad you're enjoying the report! It's nice to relive it. Gotta remember those sunny times when it's raining! :goodvibes

I'm just subbing and I'll be back to read it!!! Thanks for the easy-peasy link in your siggie! ;)

Thank you for the index! You went way beyond what I was asking for, I just wanted a list of the pages your chapters were on. But the links are SURE helpful.

We made a 20 minute stop at Publix grocery store. I love those first moments of vacation. You're on that "We're on vacation so no purchase is too silly or unnecessary" feeling.
So it's not just the ZZUBs who have this experience? We lose all sense and cents on vacation.

As soon as I saw that sign I handed the camera to Jay. (He was in the front seat)"Take a picture babe! QUICK"
What is it with women and those arches? They're just arches! I don't get any kind of giddy from the arches. But I recognize I'm in the minority on this one.

You're pictures of the Lodge are great. We really like it there.

:moped:

CHAPTER TWO

"That Boy HIT MissCammie and didn't even say SORRY or even get a consequence! They should have strapped him to a parachute and PUSHED HIM OUT OF THE PLANE":lmao: :lmao:

She doesn't mess around our Sally.

I just came across your TR and I have to tell you, I think coke came out my nose when I read that!! LMAO :rotfl2: Love your TR can't wait to read more!!!

OK i found this and I am in!!...lol this is the most hilarious TR i have read, only on day two cant wait to hear the rest!!

This TR is super super wonderful to read!

Thanks so much for posting it for us! :thumbsup2

Miss Cammie great that you posted the chapters. You are so super but could you pleaseeee update for us little peeps? Thanks!:lmao:

Just behind us a family with two very LONG LEGGED girls arrived. The girls had a bordering-on-TOO-MUCH amount of glitter/confetti in their hair. Big FAT pieces of glitter/confetti that looked more like plastic disks suitable for jewelry making...like someone poured glue on their hair and then dunked them into a pile from the glitter/confetti "irregular" bin. Know what I mean?

I think they need to be dunked in more than the "irregular" bin.

One of the girls actually rolled her snotty little eyes at my Sally and her paint brush.

QUAAAAAACK! Who knew. Apparently I too have an inner Donald. I would've slapped 'em with my eyes.

"MissCammie, I didn't REALLY see a paintbrush over there...it's over there" and she indicated with a turn of her head. Sure enough there was another one not far from us.

"I wanted that little girl to find it". The man and his small daughter, who had been nearly knocked over by the Sparkle sisters, were hunting around. The girl was tiny and wearing glasses. She was walking slowly and cautiously, holding her daddy's hand. We could see that she had braces on both legs. It made me want to find those obnoxious girls and knock their rude heads together.

The little girl was singsonging "Paintbrush Paintbrush" over and over. Sally walked over to the man and pointed in the direction of the paint brush. Then she stood sentry. Hands on hips, ready to do battle. She wasn't going to let anyone get by her. The man smiled and thanked Sally and then took his daughter in that direction. The little girl squealed with pleasure when she spotted the paint brush. She held it high and her daddy told her what a good job she had done. Sally walked over to her and put her hand out for a high five. The little girl was so cute. Her eyes got big and she smiled and tried to give Sally a high five. After missing twice, Sally helped her make contact.

Of course I was crying as I watched.

And now I'm crying. I'll probably say this another 700 times before the end of your trippie but she really is the sweetest thing EVER. I aspire to be everyday what Sally is naturally.

"Look MissCammie!! It's a horse's BEHIND!!!"

here it is...the horse's behind...and not a sparkle to be had...oddly enough...

*ahem*

Wow, you were in my head there for a second...:rotfl:

"What isn't fair is two able bodied girls running around grabbing something out from under the hands of a disabled little girl. You two really need to do an attitude check."

Sally chimed in with "Yeah...CHEATERS".

A-MEN! Twice. And one more time. Just because.

I enjoyed this chapter. So much. You and your DH really have such gems in both of those sweeties. It's unfortunate that I feel like I see more 'Sparkle Sister' types than I do great kids like yours in the World...and in the world.

But then there are kids like Sally and Teddy. They are, in a term, hope.

You just crack me up and make me cry. I am loving your TR! Good for your Sally to stand up to those spoiled little girls. :thumbsup2
Thanks for sharing!!
